We hebben het treurige nieuws ontvangen dat één van de grondleggers van de dance-scene in Nederland is overleden; Gino Lightner. Menig dj of partyganger is door Gino geïntroduceerd in zowel het nachtleven als een compleet nieuwe wereld van muziek. Zijn sets en persoonlijkheid waren absoluut uniek en hebben vele mensen geraakt.

Het zal nog even duren voordat we met de hele Wooferland familie van de schrik zijn bekomen. In 2009 hebben we hem, op veler verzoek na een aantal jaren van afwezigheid in Nederland, geboekt voor Winter Wooferland in Paradiso. Gino kwam voor een paar weken, geheel in z'n stijl is hij gewoon gebleven.

We zullen hem enorm missen en deze Wooferland editie extra hard feesten ter ere van alles wat hij ons heeft gebracht.
