A bank holiday well spent at Somerford hiring the Grassroots course.
The girls are SO incredibly lucky to have ._.ponies and who have helped them so so much and are genuinely so supportive in the girls riding journey!

The girls jumped some big jumps (especially the green grassy one!) and they literally ride in a pad - not a saddle!

Marshmallow and Honey are champions 🏆 🎉
We took the ponies to a show yesterday - the day started off a bit ropey, but ended on a high!

Honey won her class and got through to the championship, and became champion ⭐️

Ruby and Jack also shone, they won another class and got through to the championship too.

Both girls and ponies are doing brilliant at their first year of showing 🤍🩶

🐴 Midweek Mini 🐴
Our original Midweek mini is making a come back next week! We will be trialing a couple of weeks before Easter to see how we all get on! And then hopefully after Easter it will be a regular weekly session 🥰

When:
Wednesday 18th and 25th March
Time: 10am
Cost: £15 per child (price includes 1 adult)
Age suitable for:2-5
Details:
Meet our beautiful ponies spending time getting to know them, learning about them, brushing them, with some hands on activities too. Our first week will be ‘Getting mucky’ where children will enjoy getting their stable clean ready for bedtime.
Your child will also enjoy a short pony ride or can lead a pony round if they aren’t sure about riding 🩵

If you would like to book, please send a message with your child’s age!
(Please note the ponies will not be unicorns!)

When I very first started, one of the events we used to offer was a ‘midweek mini’ and we used to love it! The session would take place on a Wednesday morning and was suitable for children aged 2-5, with approximately 4-6 children per session. (Depending on booking numbers)

We would learn about the ponies, meet them all and then spend some time brushing them, maybe doing some stable duties etc, with the option to add on a short pony ride!

I’m thinking of bringing them back! The cost would be around £15.
Parents stay and can have a drink of tea/coffee and it would last around 45-60 mins. It’s a great introduction to learning and gaining confidence.
