Somerford fun over the summer holidays 💛 (very delayed post!)
We have been taking the girls and their ponies to somerford around the grassroots and 80 acres over the holidays and they have done amazing jumping over some huge solid fences on their ponies who are only 10.2hh and 12.1hh. As always Thankyou to and ._.ponies for all their help, support and encouragement for the girls. We really appreciate it 🩷🩷🩷

🎠 Some Appleby pics for those interested (I appreciate it’s non unicorn and not for everyone!) We go every year and we love it - the kids have the best time, especially this year as Zeus joined us ⭐️
We love picking out potential new unicorns (sadly the one we wanted this year was waaayyy too expensive 😅) he is on the previous reel so see if you can spot him!

🎠 Appleby week 2026 🎠
We had such a brilliant week this year! This was our first year taking a pony and Zeus was just perfect - taking everything in his stride (it’s pretty daunting - crowds of people, hundreds of horses, vans, cars, police etc)
We have been so lucky to have some amazing help from Higher farm, especially Chris who has trained Zeus impeccably to get to this point!
I have tried to include as many highlights as I can to give you an insight into our week.

Zeus was extra popular at Appleby but I couldn’t not bring him home - and driving is definitely his niche in life ✨

A bank holiday well spent at Somerford hiring the Grassroots course.
The girls are SO incredibly lucky to have ._.ponies and who have helped them so so much and are genuinely so supportive in the girls riding journey!

The girls jumped some big jumps (especially the green grassy one!) and they literally ride in a pad - not a saddle!

Marshmallow and Honey are champions 🏆 🎉
We took the ponies to a show yesterday - the day started off a bit ropey, but ended on a high!

Honey won her class and got through to the championship, and became champion ⭐️

Ruby and Jack also shone, they won another class and got through to the championship too.

Both girls and ponies are doing brilliant at their first year of showing 🤍🩶
