A little look at one of our recent exhibition stand projects 👀

We had a lot of fun with this one, taking what could have been a standard stand and adding details that gave it lots of personality.

A spin-to-win wheel, lots of giveaways, greenery worked into the displays and bold branded cubes created a space that felt welcoming, interactive and gave people a reason to stop.

We managed the whole event from the initial ideas and design through to sourcing, production and full on site setup.

Proof that you don’t need the biggest stand in the hall to create something fun and memorable ✨

🎄 Yes, we’re talking about Christmas already…

It’s October, so Christmas is officially starting to creep into the conversation (sorry 😂) which means the Christmas party planning is probably starting too!

We were just looking back at this one we created at Vue Leicester Square and had to share it again.

We transformed the space into a Christmas grotto, complete with festive games, elves, Christmas theming and even a reindeer 🦌🎄

Then, after making their way through the grotto, guests headed through for their very own private cinema screening.

A little look at a stand we recently brought to life at Solar & Storage Live at the NEC Birmingham ⚡️🌿

The brief was to create something that felt professional and impactful, but still warm, open and inviting.

We combined large-scale graphics, such as our giant video LED banner and strong brand moments with timber details, natural textures and plenty of greenery to soften the space. Different seating areas, such as the coffee lounge, gave people the option to stop for a quick chat or settle in for a longer conversation, while dedicated areas across the stand helped bring the different messaging to life without it feeling too busy.

There’s always something so satisfying about seeing the initial designs turn into a finished space on the exhibition floor.

Team building should be something people look forward to, not something they dread! It’s a chance to get everyone away from their desks, have some fun, try something different and connect with colleagues in a completely different setting. Forget the awkward icebreakers and forced networking - the best team-building experiences are the ones where people are laughing, getting stuck in and creating memories together.

It could be anything from a GPS treasure hunt or a cookery challenge to a charity build, country sports, escape games or something completely different. The activity itself almost becomes secondary, it's the conversations, the teamwork and the shared memories that people remember.

One of the things I love is that no two teams are the same, so there's never a one-size-fits-all approach. We have a huge range of teambuilding activities that can be brought to your office or hosted at venues across the UK, which means there's always something that suits the people taking part.

Some venues just have that wow factor... and Isabel Mayfair is definitely one of them. ✨

We recently hosted an evening networking reception there , and it couldn't have been a better fit.
From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was spot on. Great cocktails, delicious canapés, beautiful interiors and just the right setting for people to relax, catch up and make new connections after a busy day.
It's always nice when a venue doesn't just look good, but delivers on the service too and the team at Isabels made everything run seamlessly.
We're always on the lookout for special venues that offer something a little different, and this one is definitely staying on our list for London evening events.

We are slightly obsessed with unique giveaways.

They're usually the things people end up talking about the most.

Don't get me wrong, we love a branded pen... but it's always fun coming up with something a bit different.
We've worked on everything from branded chocolate bars and personalised jelly bean machines to custom trainers and goats and all sorts of random giveaway ideas. They're the bits that make people smile, start conversations or end up being taken home instead of left on a table somewhere.
We always think if someone actually wants to keep it, (or eat it ), we’ve done it right.

Sometimes it's the smallest part of an event that leaves the biggest impression.

There's something pretty special about seeing so many families arrive at an event and watching the excitement build before they've even walked through the entrance. 🎡🎈

We recently transformed a venue into a full-on summer carnival for one of our clients, and it was one of those events where there was something happening everywhere you looked.

From a petting zoo, Ferris wheel & fairground rides to an ice cream truck, face painting, balloon modelling and a packed stage of entertainment, there was plenty to keep everyone entertained all day.

There was also a kids' craft area, funfair stalls, basketball games, a wipe-out zone, soft play, bouncy castles, cups and saucers, and even a visit from a K-Pop Demon Hunter who unsurprisingly was a massive hit!
Family fun days are some of the most energising events to work on because they're all about having fun and creating memories. Seeing kids running from one activity to the next, parents joining in, everyone leaving with a smile, the bright colours and the unexpected experiences, makes all the planning behind the scenes completely worth it.

Definitely one of those events that reminds you why live events are so much fun to be part of. 🎪☀️

At a recent event in London, we swapped the standard tea, coffee and biscuits for something a little more fun.

It was one of those things that people couldn't walk past without stopping to have a look (or grab one of everything!).

We love adding little moments like this into events. They're not the main attraction, but they're often the bits people remember and end up talking about afterwards.

It's proof that sometimes the smallest ideas can have the biggest impact.

After a busy few weeks, it's been nice to reflect on one of our most playful projects from this year's Farm Fest. 🌱🚜

We were asked to make sustainability interesting at Farm Fest... which, as you know is a big passion of ours at The Event Collaborative! We decided to create something that the whole family could really have fun with, in a non corporate environment, which would really resonate with our target audience.
We turned the space into a mini farm themed experience, with plenty of interactive elements, small details to discover and something that got people to stop, have a look and get involved rather than just walking straight past.
Honestly, my favourite part of any event is standing back once everything's finished and just watching people interact. Seeing people wander over because they're curious, having a laugh, getting competitive and chatting about it. That makes it all feel worthwhile.

There's always so much work that goes on behind the scenes, so it's really nice when you see people genuinely enjoying something you've spent so much time bringing to life.
Definitely one of those projects that reminded us why we love working in events. 🌾✨
