Live at our next gig, on December 4th, we have the return of Pink Pound! Tickets available now from link in bio 🌈🎫

Pink Pound is the demi-drag stage persona of Andrew Milk (Current Affairs, Shopping) summoned for solo performance work and as an electronic music project. Milk creates a kaleidoscopic landscape of fist pumping Hi-NRG gay disco and introspective bedroom pop that explores identity, power dynamics and joyful connection found within q***r spaces both physical and intangible. The music was best described by a fan recently as “The Yassification of New Order”💅.
In August 2022 the debut album ‘Cottage Industry’ came out via American record label Cruisin’ Records- Milk’s first full length release as a solo artist.

Long time Q***r as Punker’s might’ve caught Pink Pound at our Q***r Bait Cabaret in 2024. 🪱

Joining the line up for the next Q***r as Punk, local q***r punks Big Bicycle! They’ll be starting us off at The Wee Red Bar on Friday 4 December, doors at 7pm. Wanted to have these guys on ever since I saw them debut at The GRS showcase tbh, a couple of years ago. Now that they’re back from a year long hiatus, ready to knock your socks off with some potent punk tunes! Plus headlining the bill will be Problem Patterns from Ireland! Tickets available now from link in bio 🌈🎫

Big Bicycle
Big Bicycle are a saxophone-infused q***r punk band tooting and cahooting around Edinburgh town. Fun, punchy, political and always DIY. Whether you hate cops or love rats, they’ve got something for everyone.

Ever wondered what it would sound like if Paul McCartney and Mark Knopfler got really into Arab Strap? Your sleepless nights are over, my friend. An alt-rock band that thinks it’s a post-rock band.
