Hi everyone!! The ball is almost here!! We hope you've had a great day and are ready for tonight!
Here's a bit of information for the ball that you might find handy:

Cloakroom:
There will be a cloakroom on the night but it will not be staffed, so unfortunately we are not responsible for any possessions that may get lost or damaged.

Getting there:
Make sure you have the right address for the Caves, as it can be tricky to find! It is at: 8-10 Niddry St S, Edinburgh EH1 1NS. It is up the side lane next to the building with the cow coming out of the wall. There are also signs for "Whisky row" at the entrance to the side lane.

Starting time:
The doors open at 8pm, and will close at 8.30, so make sure you are here before then!

On arrival:
We will ask you to have the email with your ticket on open and ready to display, as well as evidence of EITHER a negative lateral flow test or double vaccination.

Contacting us:
Once the night begins we will be busy making sure you're all having a great time, so we won't be able to respond to inquiries on our socials as much as we'd like to. Therefore, if you have anything to ask, please ask us before 8pm so that we can reply to you :).

Hi everyone! The ball is finally almost here! We have a couple bits of further information for you regarding the canapés and photographs taken on the night. 🥳

We have both a photobooth and a photographer, and the photos taken by the photographer may be used by the university for marketing or promotional purposes. Please get in touch with us if you do not wish to be individually photographed, however you may still appear in group photos.

Also, there will be canapés circulated during the beginning of the ball, so we just thought it would be useful to show you the ones that are available! They are prepared in a kitchen which handles nuts, and unfortunately we cannot guarantee they do not contain trace amounts of allergens. You will also be getting one free welcome drink.

Apart from all this information, we hope you are excited and are ready to have a wonderful evening!

[WIDENING PARTICIPATION STUDENTS]
We have 15 tickets that are available for reimbursement for widening participation students. These tickets can be reimbursed by 50% and you would be reimbursed £10. You would purchase a ticket as normal via the link, and then reach out to us at [email protected] so that would could arrange this! 🌼

TICKETS RELEASE TOMORROW AT 5PM (Friday 18th, 5pm, BST).
Only 1 day left before tickets go out! The tickets will be released at 5pm tomorrow, and a link will go out on our social media for you to buy tickets from.

We are limiting tickets to one per person, so please only buy one. We are also asking for students outside of PPLS to refrain from buying tickets so that students within our school have the opportunity to come! Thank you ☺️

You will automatically be entered into the raffle with your ticket purchase so there's no more you need to do 🤩
