MacDuff x
Hebridean Hogget dinner 🍴

Was fantastic to link up with the team at for an evening of tasting using local, seasonal produce.

Utilising the whole carcase and his team of talented chefs created a 6 course tasting menu featuring shoulder croquette, tomahawk chip, belly and heart skewer and rump tartrate 👌🏻

Fantastic to hear from Jack of who told us all about hebridean sheep, their farming life on the Ochill hills including conservation grazing work and how the breed, with thank to them and other farmers, is no longer at risk and the numbers are increasing.

If you're ever down in London, pop into take a browse in their butcher shop or book a table in their wine bar/restaurant. A pleasure to supply such a fantastic establishment.

An amazing evening with to celebrate the truly unique North Ronaldsay sheep from Orkney.

Scott and his brilliant team at Fhior curated this stunning mutton using every part of the product from lungs to the neck to the loin.

We had guest speakers and Billy Muir (who kindly travelled down from the island for the night) who told guests the story of these fantastic animals who live on this remote island, how North Ronaldsay sheep are integral to the community of islanders (& how much of a challenge they are to catch!) and why its so important to work with restaurants such as who share our passion for Scotland's native and rare breeds.

This was the first dinner of our Native and Rare series with and we are excited to see what we do next with the team!

'The only way to describe the flavour is that it almost tastes like the sea - rich in minerals and also, due to the older age of the mutton, the meat holds a beautiful strong, depth of flavour.'

A very exciting collaboration with Fhior and a true celebration of one of the worlds most ancient breeds of sheep.

Have you got your tickets? 😊

There will be five mutton-based courses
