You bring the party, they bring the vibes. Meet our atmosphere architects for this Friday's show, sound tech Max and VJ Mankind!

The Downbeat has added extra PK bins (essentially DOUBLED (!) the rig) - right on time for Dubversified Culture Presents: GRIM SICKERS – 9th Anniversary Showcase

🔊 Max started with PK sound in Calgary late 2011 after being found by Chris Boucher and Benny Bside, building stages and living in a makeshift lean-to at Motion Notion. He travelled with them to Shambhala to build the Village stage. He then trained in house in Calgary as a technician, and brought his own set of skills as a DJ gear wizard. Then he worked as a stage technician until moving to Victoria in 2014 to open the Victoria branch of PK sound.

🌀 Mankind’s Vision is a visual brand focused on spirituality, the mind, and the mystery of the unknown. He use visuals as a bridge between inner thought and deeper truth, turning ideas into meaningful creative expression.
