rt, and meaningful experiences. Founded by Katie Gelling — who has been on a stage or involved in music since she could walk & talk. Breaking waves oozes with Katie's passion, with extensive years in hospitality and the arts, artist relations & artist development guide every detail — Breaking Waves has proven it strives to create spaces where people feel welcomed, supported, and inspired. We’re committed to producing cutting-edge events and developing programs that help artists build real skills and share their work confidently. Safety, accessibility, and community activism guide everything we design — from workshops to full-scale EDM nights. Our goal is simple: create spaces where everyone can learn, express themselves, and experience art at its most transformative. Our events blend intention with imagination: family-friendly daytime workshops, hybrid art programs, and immersive nighttime EDM experiences shaped by forest textures, coastal energy, and a deep love for local culture. Each gathering is crafted to uplift emerging and established artists while inviting the community to connect in a way that feels genuine and alive. Looking forward, BWE is developing a long-term vision for a mixed-use creative space — a home for music lessons, performance & art programming, mentorship, and after-dark electronic music events under one roof. A place where creativity can grow in every direction, from morning to midnight. Breaking Waves Entertainment is more than a production company.
