This Thanksgiving, we're grateful for the incredible rugby community that makes our sport so special.

To our players, coaches, referees, volunteers, families, supporters, and clubs — thank you for your passion, dedication, and everything you do to keep rugby thriving in Southern Alberta.

It's the people, the friendships, and the memories made both on and off the field that make this community feel like family.

Wishing everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with family, friends, good food, and plenty to be thankful for! 🍂

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Southern Alberta Rugby!

SATURDAY IS A RUGBY DAY!

And TODAY is a big one at Calgary Rugby Park.

We’re kicking things off with Minis this morning, then at 11:00 AM our very own Southern Alberta Colts take on the University of Lethbridge in PUMRC action.

From there, the park is FULL — 5 university games, juniors all afternoon and all 5 fields going throughout the day for our last BIG rugby Saturday of the season!

Check out some of the action from last Saturday — and then come be part of it today.

Come one, come all! Enjoy this last little bit of warm weather, a full park and a full day of rugby.

And while you’re here, maybe enjoy a pint of local craft b**r... why not?

See you at the CRP!

Today, we remember the children who never made it home, the Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities who continue to carry that history.

Truth and Reconciliation is about more than wearing orange or recognizing a day on the calendar. It’s about listening to Indigenous voices, learning the truth of what happened, acknowledging the ongoing impacts, and taking meaningful steps toward reconciliation.

Today, we remember.
Today, we listen.
And every day, we have a responsibility to do better.

🧡 Every Child Matters.
