My name is Rebecca O'Sullivan and I am an Authorised Australian Registered Marriage Celebrant and I reside in Rockingham, Western Australia. I have been with my partner for over 20yrs who is also the father of my 3 boys. Our family also consists of a dog and an aviary of birds, plus I am a Grandmother of 2 beautiful boys & a first in the family granddaughter. All of whom keep me very busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way, to me family is everything. This is why I became a Civil Celebrant, to be a part of people's happiness & grief, so they will remember their special occasion's with fondness & wonderful memories. I offer all of my clients a very personalised service, which comes from the heart, as I am very passionate about giving people exactly what they want for their special day. I visit you in the comfort of your own home as i know how hectic life can be with work and family and not to mention when you are trying to arrange a special event. 💗 Some days really do touch your heart, and yesterday was one of those days for me.

I have had the pleasure of knowing the Paulik family for many years. From working alongside Cindy in the funeral industry, to being there to help the family farewell two of their loved ones, we have shared some very emotional moments over the years.

But today was a very different occasion, and one that was incredibly special to me.

I had the absolute honour and privilege of helping Larry marry the love of his life, his beautiful Rose🌹

Surrounded by a small, intimate gathering of loved ones, these two gorgeous people said their vows and became husband and wife.

To see the happiness on their faces and the love they have for each other honestly filled my heart with so much joy.

Being a celebrant allows me to be part of people’s lives through so many different moments, both happy and sad, and today reminded me just how lucky I am to do what I do.

🙏💞 Larry and Rose, thank you for allowing me to be part of such a beautiful and special moment in your lives. I wish you both nothing but love, laughter, good health and many happy years together.

There is nothing quite like a midweek drive on a lovely spring day, and that is exactly what I got to enjoy on Thursday when I headed down to the stunning Noble River Estate, tucked away amongst the forest in Dwellingup, for Aria and Corey’s wedding.

Aria had been looking for somewhere peaceful, surrounded by beautiful bushland, for their special day, and I really don’t think she could have found a more perfect spot. It was just gorgeous!

For anyone looking for a lovely, intimate wedding venue surrounded by nature, I can highly recommend Noble River Estate. They can accommodate up to 40 guests, and you can even book out the entire property for your celebration. There is plenty of birdlife to keep you company, including a resident peacock who likes to wander around as if he owns the place!

💐 Aria looked absolutely beautiful wearing her gorgeous flower crown, and it was such a pleasure to be there as she and Corey became husband and wife in such a peaceful setting.

💙 A little behind the scenes with yours truly! 😂💻

Lordy, lordy… if only you knew how much goes on behind the scenes before I get to stand up there and marry you lovebirds! 💍

There’s ceremonies to write, love stories to bring to life, paperwork to sort and the occasional cuppa that’s gone cold because I’ve got carried away! ☕😂

And yes, I do spend a fair bit of time talking to myself while writing ceremonies… don’t judge me! 🤣

But seriously, every couple has their own story, and I put my heart into making sure their ceremony is all about THEM.💗

A few laughs, maybe a happy tear or two, and plenty of love. That’s what it’s all about! 💞

Now, back to the laptop… these ceremonies aren’t going to write themselves! 😂

💙 What a busy but lovely Saturday!

My day started with a little “legal words only” wedding for a gorgeous couple, right in their own kitchen! 🥰

Then it was off to do the paperwork with another couple, and talk about a small world! While we were chatting, the groom received a Facebook notification announcing that some good friends had just married. As it turned out, they were the very couple I’d just left! 😂

Next stop was Leeming to spend some time with a lovely family, helping them plan a celebration of life for their much-loved mum. 💙

Then it was back home to prepare for Daniel & Sophie’s wedding at The Barn.

What a beautiful afternoon it was! The setting looked gorgeous, especially the stunning flowers, all picked from Sophie’s mum’s very own garden! 🌸🌼 Such a lovely personal touch, and just look at those colours!

As for the ceremony, well, there were a few watery eyes. As Daniel said, “Damn hayfever!” 😂😂 Seems quite a few of us were suffering from it!

Daniel & Sophie, what a beautiful, fun couple you are. Thank you for letting me be part of your special day. 🥰

💙 Some weddings touch your heart just that little bit more… and Saturday’s was one I will never forget! 🥹💍

😢 I’ve been known to shed a tear at my weddings, but Saturday’s ceremony at the beautiful Nikola Estate was one I struggle to describe when it comes to my emotions.

👰🏻🤵🏻I had the privilege and joy of bringing Adrian and Stephanie together as husband and wife.

😢 Why so emotional, you may ask?

🥰 Well, Stephanie has been part of our family for many, many years. We first met when she moved into our little street, and from that day she became our “daughter from another mother.”

After raising three boys, having a young lady in our lives was warmly embraced. Stephanie has always considered us her “Australian parents.” 🥰

When it came time for her permanent visa, we didn’t hesitate to help and support her. The greatest joy was seeing her recently granted Australian citizenship! 🇦🇺

🏡 Our door has always been open to Stephanie, and now that includes her gorgeous husband Adrian too.

😢 Once the waterworks had finished, I could sit back and enjoy the celebrations!

📣 A few special shoutouts are deserved.

Stephanie’s brother, sister-in-law, new little niece and her dad, who proudly walked her down the aisle, were able to attend. Sadly, her mum couldn’t endure the long flight from Germany, so the livestream was such an important part of the day.

🌸 Run Wild Creative – Those flower towers! Absolutely stunning! I’ve never seen anything like them. First as the chapel backdrop, then at the reception. Just beautiful!

📸 Just For Kiks – Ollie the Vintage Caravan Photobooth – How funky was that! Family and friends certainly had fun with it!

🚐 Carlow’s Kombi – And let’s not forget the stretch Kombi! How cool did that look?

🥰😄 It certainly was a fun, emotional day filled with love, laughter and happy tears.

🙏😘 Adrian and Stephanie, thank you for allowing me to share such a special moment in your lives. Marrying you both was an honour, not just as your celebrant, but as someone who loves you like family.

💍💕 What a busy weekend it was!

Wedding season is well and truly upon us, and what a beautiful way to kick it off!

Friday afternoon took me to the gorgeous Vin & Flowers in Northbridge for Toni & Tim’s wedding. ❤️

What a fun ceremony, filled with love, laughter and quite a few sneaky little kisses along the way! 😘

These two definitely only had eyes for each other, and it was such a joy to be part of their special day.
