I perform both Christian and civil ceremonies.
Should you be a Christian couple that would like to be married somewhere other than in a church such as at the beach or in a park or even at home in your backyard then I can add prayers, a blessing and your favourite passages from scripture to your ceremony.
Of course I am happy to marry you in a church as well! 😀🙏🌹

Happy anniversary to lovely couple Rebecca and Matthew who were one of my couples when I first started as a Celebrant. Their wedding was at pretty Yindana Lake in Lakelands under the big Tuart tree. Wishing you both a long and happy marriage. 😀💕🎉🥂🎈

FUN FACT FRIDAY.

Did you know...

That you can’t have a surprise wedding, where you are surprising your partner and they have no idea about it.

You can organise a wedding where you are surprising your guests, however both parties to the marriage MUST know about and consent to the marriage.

Celebrants must not participate in surprise weddings where one party is totally unaware of what is happening.

Even if both parties have signed the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) form and were in agreement 12 months ago, it can not be assumed that both parties feel the same way, which would put undue stress and pressure onto the surprised party to participate - which is not real consent.
