We were proud to help deliver the NAIDOC State Reception during NAIDOC Week last month.

Held annually, this significant event celebrates First Nations people in Victoria and provides an important platform to
strengthen relationships between the Victorian Government, First Nations organisations, and Community. Delivered on behalf of the Department of Premier and Cabinet, the reception brought together key stakeholders from across government and Community to celebrate culture and highlight progress in Treaty and First Peoples portfolios.

Last month, we were proud to organise Canva’s season opener experience for 300+ Canvanauts, creating a full-day internal event designed to reconnect, re-energise and align the Melbourne team.

Across the company-wide opener, breakout sessions and closing celebration, the day was designed to celebrate wins, spark connection and set the tone for the exciting goals ahead.

With the theme “Activating Your Superpowers”, the event was all about celebrating individuality, boosting morale and turning passive screen-watching into something more interactive, playful and meaningful.

Meet Chloe, one of our Event Managers here at JT. Production Management. 👋

Chloe recently travelled to Auckland for a site visit at the Cordis Hotel ahead of an upcoming conference. While virtual tours and floorplans are helpful for initial planning, nothing replaces the invaluable insights gained from physically walking the space.

When you’re on-site with key venue, catering, and AV partners, you uncover the critical details that video calls simply miss:

The Attendee Journey: Floorplans don’t show real-world crowd flow. Walking the venue allows Chloe to map out exact
wayfinding signage and prevent bottlenecks before they happen.

Hidden Logistics: Being in the room triggers immediate, practical problem-solving. from checking how ambient light affects AV screens to mapping out precise catering paths.

Taking the time to walk the space ensures every operational detail is locked in well before show day.
