Hi I’m Kate

I have been involved in the wedding and events industry for nearly 10 years, planning, styling and managing many events through my business Events By Kate. I am so grateful for the past decade as it has lead me to this next chapter of my journey. I did not appreciate what ‘ living your purpose’ meant until I completed my celebrant licence and began officiating weddings and farewell services (funerals). Whether I am marrying you and your soul mate or helping you honour the life of your loved one, it will be a privilege supporting you in this personal and intimate time.

One week ago today, I got to make two gorgeous humans husbands for life.

A ceremony filled with romance, laughter and a few tears ~ followed by a party with all the style, sparkle and class you’d expect from these two.

I will never take for granted being trusted to share in moments this intimate and personal.

Just minutes before, a message from Dwyn’s father had played, allowing his voice to fill the room once more. There wasn’t a dry eye as Dwyn walked down the aisle with her gorgeous mum.

Although her dad couldn’t be there beside her, his love was so deeply felt in every part of that moment.✨
