We reckon Dee deserves some credit for helping Levi grow his palate and judging by the love, laughs and energy in the room on Saturday, she’s clearly brought out the best in him.

What an absolute pleasure it was celebrating Dee & Levi at the beautiful Encore St Kilda.

A night that brought the perfect mix of love, laughter and plenty of reasons to keep the music going.

For this one, CHOKOLATE brought the full soundtrack.. acoustic duo for the ceremony and early vibes, followed by DJ/MC to take the party home.

Here’s our take on “Isn’t She Lovely” bringing those smooth, feel good grooves while the drinks are flowing, the canapés are circulating and everyone’s settling into celebration mode getting some of their boogie in.

This is one of our favourite parts of a wedding, you don’t need the music screaming for attention. You just need the right songs, the right groove and a band that knows how to read the room. Because the party doesn’t have to wait until the dance floor opens. 😉

Some weddings stay with you long after the last song finishes… and James & Erin’s was definitely one of them. 🚂

Celebrating their wedding at the iconic Puffing Billy Railway couldn’t have been more fitting. James is a train engineer and lifelong train lover, and it definitely runs in the family, James, his dad and his brother are all train engineers, with his brother having worked at Puffing Billy. So this wasn’t just a beautiful venue; it was somewhere with a genuine connection to James and his family.

And then there’s Erin. A teacher with one of those bubbly, warm personalities that instantly makes everyone feel welcome. Together, Erin and James are just genuinely beautiful people and such a great couple.
One thing that really stood out to us was how they treated everyone involved in their day. We never felt like we were simply vendors there to do a job, they made us feel like we were part of their celebration. Their family, friends and guests were exactly the same.. welcoming, appreciative and an absolute pleasure to celebrate with.

CHOKOLATE provided acoustic duo music and DJ entertainment for the night, taking things from relaxed live acoustic vibes into the party later on.

A massive shoutout also has to go to Katie from bubli weddings 🧡, because without her recommendation, we wouldn’t have been part of this one! Katie helped bring everything together and made the entire process seamless. For couples wanting to take the stress out of wedding planning and have someone helping keep everything streamlined, we couldn’t recommend Bubli Weddings enough.

James & Erin, thank you for choosing CHOKOLATE to be part of such an important day and for making us feel like guests as much as vendors.

Some songs stay with you forever… and for us, “Yes I Do” by L.A.B is one of them!

This was the very first song request we ever learnt for our very first couple.

It wasn’t just another song on the setlist either. The bride and groom chose it as their grand entrance song, and watching them walk into the marquee full of their favourite people while this track came to life is a memory we’ll never forget. That moment reminded us why we love what we do.

Ever since that wedding, we’ve always wanted to recreate it properly for our socials, and this little sax feature is our way of paying tribute to the song that became part of CHOKOLATE’s story.

There’s something special about hearing a live saxophone at a wedding. It brings a warmth and energy that recordings simply can’t match. Whether it’s weaving through a laid back cocktail hour, adding soul to your favourite love song, or stepping out for an unforgettable solo like this one, the sax has a way of lifting every moment without overpowering it.

It’s one of those instruments that guests don’t always expect… but they always remember.
