Congratulations To all the Newly Engaged Couples over this Festive season, Its your time to shine!
First things first stay in your engagement bubble a little while longer before you start even thinking the word wedding!
Enjoy being engaged & enjoy this moment, then when you’re ready consider the following points, take it from me… I’ve seen a wedding or two!
1. Take your time when planning, Did you know that the majority of venues and vendors are (mostly) booked out already for 2024 & starting to be booked out for peak season (November to April 2025) Take 12-18 months to plan and talk to every supplier you can!
2. Did you know A dress can take anywhere from 9 months to make?
3. The wedding industry can be overwhelming with options so take the time to consider what is out there, and what you truely want! Family and friend pressures can weigh in significantly so consider all your options and find out what you truly like and don’t like before you start booking things.
4. Sit down with your partner and set your budget, do not put yourself into debt for the start of your marriage. Enquire with the suppliers you like- to gauge the price ranges in that category, but set the budget so you know what tier of supplier and venue you can consider
5. Read the contracts and question anything you are unsure of, don’t be afraid to ask for changes or another option… it’s your day! You are the important ones
