First pictures of Tayla's late-autumn wedding, wearing custom Lucia Josephine at Customs House.
Between the structure of the silk dupion and the drama of the ostrich feather-lined veil, you could be forgiven for mistaking her for a marble sculpture. Our signature corsetry gave the gown shape before expanding into a pencil cut, column style skirt. Meticulously placed pleats and a centre-back split were the final details that brought her vision to fruition.

Not all lace is the same, and Chantilly is certainly in a category of its own.
This delicate detail is made on a fine net ground with floral motifs outlined in a raised cordonnet thread. It beautifully contrasts fabric with a unique sheerness that is impossible to replicate with heavier laces.
Some of our brides use it as an accent, whilst others use it across the entire gown, elevating the gown's visual appeal by adding a delicate textural layer.

One of our most favourite house codes and specialities at Lucia Josephine.

The Rafaella gown borrows its V waistline from the couture houses of the late nineteenth century and rebuilds it for the twenty-first century bride through carefully cut panel lines, sculpting the corset before softening into a signature dip over the high hip.
Below, silk dupion forms fluid pleats and dramatic panels narrow the waist before expanding exquisitely at the hem. Rose accents optional.

From our Peaches & Cream collection.

The Process: Lara.
The ruched waistband on Lara's gown is cut on the bias in a single piece, no side seams, no joints, set directly into the back so the fabric wraps the waist without interruption.

It sits over a customised Charlotte corset with its signature panel lines, beneath custom bell sleeves in silk dupion lined with organza for a volume that gave her complete freedom of movement across the day.

Rachael was married in Byron Bay last spring, and we have not stopped thinking about this brocade since.
A moulded bodice with wide set straps, a raised rose print (meeting at the centre back), and a double-lined bias-cut silk satin skirt with a fall that the Byron Bay light was made for.

Florals in bridal fashion are nothing new, but the way a flower translates across different fabrics and techniques is endlessly varied.

In embossed silk brocade, the floral is architectural, woven into the fabric itself so the pattern becomes structure. In lace, it is delicate and layered, the motif repeating across the surface in a way that reads differently at every distance. On a veil, it becomes something else entirely, a detail that moves and catches light independently of the gown beneath it.

The same inspiration, interpreted three completely different ways.
