Dupion and organza bell sleeves that lifted as she moved, a ruched waist band cut on the bias in one seamless piece over a customised corset, her something borrowed veil trailing behind her through the Gold Coast Hinterlands all day.

A second look is an opportunity to turn heads a second time. The ceremony gown has already made its statement, and the reception dress has to carry that vision forward into the dinner, the dancing, and the hours that run long and feel short.

For Karri, that meant satin cut on the bias, a deepened cowl, Chantilly lace, and Gucci shoes sourced from New York City.

The Audrey gown is built on that principle, a hand-moulded sculptural collar in Mikado… wrapping the body in a single seamless sweep, a bodice that drops into our signature arched waist, a box pleated ballerina length skirt sitting on a basque waist beneath.

Klaudine, married in the Philippines at the Shangri-La Borocay in custom Lucia Josephine.
At the top of her wishlist was a peplum shape, and for a beachside resort wedding drenched with light, it made complete sense. We customised our signature Charlotte corset with a full circle cut peplum in silk dupion, giving it enough volume to beautifully spill the Chantilly lace beneath it. It was paired with our Francesca skirt, a petticoat underneath allowing her to move freely through the gardens and the beach all day. The peplum carried a Spanish and Filipino sensibility that felt hers entirely.

We hand-sewed a locket into the left side of her peplum, over her heart, containing a photo of her late mother. A deeply emotional and generous gift from her girlfriends, so that she could carry her through the day.

The Gold Coast Hinterlands in full green, and Lara in custom Lucia Josephine.
Starting from our Francesca skirt as the base of her inspiration, we developed a full gown in silk dupion with custom bell sleeves lined in organza, their volume giving her the freedom to move through the entire day. At the waist, a ruched band cut on the bias in one continuous piece, framed her without interruption. Completing the look was our Charlotte corset and our signature panels anchoring the silhouette.
Against the dense hinterland greenery, with her something-borrowed veil, the clouds cleared at the perfect moment, letting the light find every fold of the silk dupion and catch the swathe behind her.

Karri, wearing custom Lucia Josephine for her Tuscan-inspired garden reception at The Merribee.
To achieve her vision of a non-traditional second look, we customised our Gabriella silhouette cut on the bias, and self-lined it in the same beautiful bone shade. With no centre back seam, we finished the look with a decadent cowl from behind, Chantilly lace hand sewn throughout the neckline, and buttons to close. Paired with Gucci shoes sourced from New York, they brought a 1930s art deco quality that sat against the satin faultlessly.

Luminous satin and a bias cut skirt are two elements that do not forgive imprecision. The Gabriella gown is built around both... a plunging V neckline front and back, princess seams that flatter without force, a silhouette that glides rather than holds.
Finished with a narrow V back, buttons, and an optional silk chiffon or tulle scarf.
