Massive thanks to Creative Life and Cairns Regional Council for supporting this project and making it possible, and to Cairns Festival for providing an amazing platform to showcase all the talent.

Next up, we will be showcasing a whole new bunch of artists at Tanks Arts Centre as part of Cairns Music Industry Gathering - stay tuned for more!

Meet Desirée Hobbins - a marine biologist from Canada who now calls Cairns home! 🐟🌴

She will be bringing her raw and powerful sound to the Cairns Festival Esplanade main stage on Sunday as part of The Next Wave.

Desirée has said she would LOVE to find a band. We are hoping that shining the spotlight on her talent helps her find her musical family. Is this you? 🥁🎸
