UK-born DJ, selector and underground music veteran with more than 35
years behind the decks. Raised through the London rave, pirate radio and sound system scenes of the early 1990s, Andy23 has lived through the evolution of modern dance music from warehouses, free parties and analogue studios to today’s festival stages and digital performance systems.

Known for his deep roots in drum and bass, jungle, hip-hop, old school breaks, dub, dubstep, glitch, grime and bass music, Andy23 brings a lifetime of music culture to every set. His sound is built on proper selection, technical mixing and a love of heavyweight rhythms, moving between deep rolling grooves, breakbeat pressure, classic rave energy and future-facing bass music.

A long-time collector and selector of quality sounds, Dr BoB draws inspiration from Funk, Prog, Bushtek, House, Chill, and beyond. Known for blending styles with his own unmistakable flavour, his sets move through heavy basslines, playful funk, warm groove, and plenty of PhaTTNeSS.

For Magnetic Fields, Dr BoB will be warming things up with a fat dose of melodic Bush Tek — built for moving that money maker, huge smiles, and proper ear-hole satisfaction. Spawning in 2017, Jive is the international Darkpsy project of Jai Royall
The project was developed as a tool to research and further understand the symbiosis between unearthly sonic textures and deep rhythmic structures. Harbouring latent dark energy from another dimension this hybrid Alien/human/DJ commands an army of darkpsy D-floor disciples across the globe with no less than 2 appearances at Drops Festival in Slovenia in 2024, 2025 plus again in Aug 2026 and can often be seen lurking around on the stage at the homegrown Autopsy events. Jive is also the co-founder of Murky Collective and event director of Swampy Conscience, responsible for creating forest portals up n around the eastern coast of Oz.

Magnetic Fields Artist Spotlight - Trentacles

With bio that consists of 1 line "I like to Party!" This SEQ heavyweight was all over the scene pre-covid smashing out primetime Prog/Psy sets every other week across SEQ and NNSW, playing 50 gigs between Noosa and Coffs in 2018 and 2019 alone. Well known for his huge sound and melodic finesse, Trentacles always brought the BASS. Always ahead of the curve he was the founder of Doofland Live stream which aired over 60 shows fortnightly for 2 years showcasing up and coming talent.

Coming out of semi retirement from the interstate psytrance circuit Trentacles has been a popular Twitch streaming DJ and playing faster Psytrance subgenres of late. At magnetic fields you can catch Trentacles twice, playing a high energy Full on/Darkpsy set late night on Friday and again closing out the event with his must hear, massive Prog/Psy set on Sunday afternoon. This is quite a treat as a Trentacles gig is extremely rare these days, so don't miss this one.

Artist spotlight - Jackaranda
Jackaranda is a Southeast Queensland DJ and Producer that has a particular
focus on mixing and producing Bush Progressive and Progressive Psytrance. After first appearing in the SEQ Doof scene in 2018 (under the name Dreaded Endings) he combines deep earthy basslines and rhythmic percussion that's paired with groovy leads and synths in the mids and high ends making you feel like getting down while
simultaneously feeling light.
