WHEELS OUT ART UPDATE

we are having a little break...

I started this community club back in 2024 and have never taken more than two weeks off at a time becasue being creative with others really is my passion!!

but all good things must take a pause and give themselves space to transform ~ that is what Wheels Out Art is taking some time to do

in a world measured by productivity and growth, it is hard to quanitfy the success of this group and find the path forward ~ WOA is about breaking down those barriers that stop us from being creative and encouraging every person to give themselves the chance to try.

try getting outside

try talking to new people

try experimenting with new mediums

try to unwind from the world and connect with yourself, others and nature

so I will be taking my own advice and connecting back to myself (Kate) and see where the future will take this event...

in the meantime, don't forget to grab your arty farty things and get outside with them, and if you have any thoughts you'd like to share around Wheels Out Art, it's future, what it has meant to you, or any feedback in general PLEASE reach out!!

our other clubs and events will be running as normal :)

that's what we're all about here at Three Pees Creations ~ creating spaces for people to be seen and express themselves 🌻

as the New England Garden festival New England Garden Festival comes around this weekend, I wanted to share this poem again that one of our community memebers wrote for Roseville Under Guyra Skies

🍀 I cannot recommend taking the time to visit enough, this property is visually stunning and you can feel all the love to at Suzy, Jamie and Suzy's Dad have poured into this place

🍀 when we visited with our art club, Wheels Out Art, Suzy and Jamie took us on a tour of the whole property, detailing the sunken garden, small and large orchids, friendly highland cows (and now sheep too!!), a pitched rose garden and soooo much more

🍀please do yourself a favour this weekend and visit them, I guarantee you will not be disappointed!!

poem credit to Donna Kingelty ❤️‍🔥

enjoy the garden festival and I hope to see you amongst the flowers,

tomorrow night 🥳🥳

there is rarely an event I run that looks the same... sometimes we're planning surprise parties for people, other days we're heading 50 minutes out into the bush to deliver su***de prevention programs to those living in remote communities like Tenterden!!

these events are about connection, to each other, to the land, to the professional services when needed ~ ASPIRE (Su***de Prevention Network) bring the BBQ and Band, the community show up for themselves and each other and a wonderful night ensues 💃🕺

this past Saturday I had the pleasure of running an event prior to the main event focusing on the kids and their connection to place and others ~ through painting the Street Library from Street Library Australia 🥳

we also made bookmarks, painted rocks, and created fishy-stress balls!! the kids even brought books ready to donate and made additional bookmarks to leave for those who use the library in the future 📚🔖

If you're curious about working together reach out, there is always room for more joy and creativity in every space,

what does come by donation mean??

i'm glad you asked!! it's a very common question and there is a very easy reason for it ~ we don't believe money should be a barrier to stop you from connecting with others or being creative.

plain and simple.

when you join our come by donations events you will NEVER be asked for money, if you are able to donate please speak with Kate at the beginning or end of the session ~ there are no questions asked about the amount you give and there is no expectation for the amount you give either.

Kate runs all these community events out of her back pocket because she knows how important these spaces are to offer people
