On Sunday, the 31st of August, the Bloemfontein community will once again have the opportunity to visit the vibey Botanical Garden Market!

This will be the very last Sunday morning market for 2025, as the market will, from hereon, be hosted on Friday evenings for the rest of the year. During the Winter months, this market offers a unique setting, given that visitors have so very many options in this beautiful scenic surrounding. The best selected vendors offer a wide variety of food, lifestyle products, clothing, craft liquor, arts and other exciting products.

Visitors have a choice of browsing through stalls or relaxing at the seating area.
This area is shaded, with more than enough tables and chairs, to offer protection from the sun, as it is getting warmer now. Hungry patrons can also have a sit-down meal from the Botanical Garden restaurant.
More active visitors can also walk around the garden or have a climb onto the Botanical Garden koppie, which offers a beautiful view.

The garden is also marked with information, which is both historical and informative and also tells you about the plants in the garden. Live entertainment, on the Talk2Me Cellular stage, with local artists, is something that visitors can also be sure of. Lovely music, suited to the Sunday vibe will be offered from some local newbies on base, keyboard and vocals.

There are more than enough activities to keep the little ones occupied, with an array of jumping castles and also a mechanical bull. Entrance fee is R35 for adults and R20 for kids and the market is from 10am to 4pm.
