The intentional welcome party: A lesson in hospitality from Barrett & Matthew 🎾

The weekend wasn’t about just inviting their guests, it was about creating an experience from the start. And it all began with some competitive fun on the paddle tennis courts!

Laughter echoed as family and friends eased into the celebration. Following the games was an intimate dinner at Pastaria where stories were shared and connections grew deeper in anticipation for the celebration ahead.

We love to encourage couples to think intentionally about their welcome party as it sets the emotional tone for the weekend.

For Claire & Casey, we designed a day where natural textures, creamy florals, and warm candlelight surrounded their guests, from the lush florals of the ceremony to the layered, intimate glow of their reception. Stone and wooden accents, sculptural blooms, and modern details wove together to create a celebration that felt organic and lush yet refined and elevated.
