Hispanic Heritage Month Exhibit: Sept 26th - Oct 15th

Austin ISD Fine Arts is proud to announce the launch of the Black Box Gallery, opening at the district’s Performing Arts Center (PAC) in partnership with Bolm Arts.

The inaugural exhibition, curated by Elyse Gomez, Julissa Gonzales, and Stephanie Mervine, celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month and highlights the vibrant creativity of local artists.

The Black Box Gallery is a professional rotating exhibition space that wraps around the PAC’s Black Box Theatre. This addition expands the district’s thriving arts presence at the PAC.

Through this initiative, Austin ISD is breaking new ground: the Black Box Gallery will be among the first professional-level, rotating galleries located within a public-school district performing arts center in Texas. Mueller Austin
