Hello friends, colleagues and clients, 👋🏻
You may have noticed that our “engagement” has been down and we seem a bit MIA.
We’re still here, still creating, planning and working we’ve just made the decision not to be held down by social media anymore.
Very recently Jason and I lost someone very close to us, it was devastating for our family and their friends.
One of my last conversations with them was about how stressful & anxiety inducing it is to constantly be trying to keep up, stay relevant, be loud but also quiet enough to protect our home and business, be present but also online.
It’s exhausting.
And just as nonchalant as one could they said “Well, you don’t HAVE to do it” “Just don’t”.
So here we are. Not doing it.
Life is fleeting, we exist once (unless you’re into reincarnation and in that case please bring me back as a chihuahua w/ 2 dads in Palm Springs) and as much as we love our jobs and you, we love our family and living more.
It’s only been a short time w/ our online detox but so far I love not knowing or caring where my phone is. I love having my coffee w/ the dogs and listening to the birds instead of doom scrolling through the angry rhetoric.
We’re here, we’re not going anywhere, we’re just choosing living over popularity.
We’ll check in, post in stories and share the fun when we think it’s something you’ll enjoy but we’re not just going to keep posting to keep us in the algorithm.
Be kind to yourself and others, don’t waste time on a**holes and unplug for awhile! 🤍
Love you, mean it.
