A Night With Jackie's Boy has earned a Grammy Award, but many people first became familiar with his work without realizing it.

As a songwriter, he's contributed to songs recorded by Flo Rida, Madonna, Chris Brown, Sean Kingston, Johnny Gill, Charlie Wilson, and many other nationally recognized artists. Audition for the role you were never meant to play! For “DEAD WRONG - A Miscast Concert," we're looking for performers ready to throw traditional casting expectations aside and sing the musical theatre songs they’ve always wanted to sing.

This HalloWAYNE concert is all about unexpected choices, familiar songs in surprising hands, and the sheer fun of getting the casting wonderfully wrong.

VIRTUAL AUDITION SUBMISSIONS DUE: September 13, 2026

Open to performers ages 18+. Prepare two 60-second cuts of musical theatre songs you might sing in the concert. Be bold. Be unexpected. Bonus points for something spooky, creepy, dark, witchy, haunted, or Halloween-adjacent.

The performance takes place October 10 at 7:00 p.m. on the Main Stage of the historic Wayne Theatre.
