We had the pleasure of catering the Annual Gala at The Phillips Collection.

Inspired by the special exhibition Miró and the United States, the menu celebrated Catalan and Spanish cuisine with favorites like pa amb tomàquet, pulpo a la gallega, patatas bravas, and more. Guests began with a white gazpacho amuse, followed by seafood salmorejo, an entrée inspired by the Spanish coasts and countryside, and finished the evening with mini desserts, late night bites, and of course, sangria.

Throughout the museum, four distinct tablescapes drew inspiration from the work of Joan Miró, transforming each space into a unique expression of color, creativity, and celebration. It was an evening filled with art, beauty, and inspiration.

Catering in DC means experience iconic venues after hours in a way that is so special. This intimate dinner at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum included strawberry spritzes, burrata salad with stunning watermelon radish for a pop of color, beef tenderloin with a wild mushroom strudel that I can’t stop thinking about. 😋

This grazing table was created for a special graduation party. A thoughtful selection of local and imported cheeses paired with membrillo, alongside fruits, vibrant charcuterie, and savory accompaniments including cornichons, mustards, and herb oils. Finished with delicious crackers, fresh breads, and sweet pretzel touches, it was a spread as delicious as it was beautiful.

What a season it has been at Well Dunn Catering!

This week we celebrated an incredible milestone — a record-breaking April followed by an extraordinarily busy May season. None of this would be possible without the amazing team behind every event.

From our talented kitchen led by Executive Chef Bradley and Pastry Chef Eddie, to our incredible warehouse team, drivers, dedicated sales team, accounting, and staffing department who ensure every event is beautifully executed with exceptional service — we are endlessly grateful for every single person who makes the magic happen.

And there’s even more to celebrate… we officially reached 11,000 followers on Instagram!

A huge part of that success belongs to our wonderful Marketing Coordinator, Monica, whose creativity, positivity, and passion have completely elevated our marketing program over the past year. Monica, thank you for always bringing your bright smile, your energy, and your superstar talent to the Well Dunn family.

We are so thankful for this team, our clients, our partners, and everyone who continues to support us along the way.
