We did it—and we are incredibly proud of this one!

At 2 a.m. this morning, while most of Manhattan was asleep, our four-person crew began transforming the Alpha Chi Omega house at Kansas State University.

By approximately 8:40 a.m., we had installed more than 220 feet of balloon décor and created a Bid Day experience inspired by the spectacular sorority reveals so many people have watched online through RushTok.

Topeka's VUBBIX owner Kristin Lewis designed the installation based on the vision and guidance of Alpha Chi Omega member Hayden Haas. Shelby Hay of Sunny Day Party Art in Lawrence—who is also a K-State graduate—collaborated with our team on the installation.

The Alpha Chi Omega women were thrilled. They told us they had never seen anything like it in real life, and watching their reactions made every hour of preparation and overnight work worthwhile.

This project required creativity, careful planning, specialized equipment, teamwork and quite a bit of determination. We are so grateful that Alpha Chi Omega trusted VUBBIX to help create such an unforgettable welcome for its newest members.

Back-to-school season is in full swing, and this setup was such a fun one to bring to life!

Depending on the situation, we sometimes design mock ups just to make sure we're bringing the right vibe and matching the client's expectations.
