Our following has grown tremendously we are almost at 4,000 ❤️. Therefore let me reintroduce myself.

I’m Cheryl the owner and operator I bring over 28 years of event planning, management , design and marketing to you. Although I am a certified Wedding/Event Planner & Designer, this is truly my passion. D2D was established in 2014 when several friends forced me into opening the business. Our client portfolio is broad, I have worked with several professional athletes, corporations, an American Icon and the average working families. My ideal clients are the ones who love to dream which allows us to put our spin on it and make them come true.

We are a triple award winning business also on the State of Kansas level. We’ve been featured in several magazines, served on business and educational panels, a guest on multiple tv shows and commercials to include radio . Being excited is an understatement. We were asked to be a part of the Happy Holiday Greetings for Businesses from The Greater Topeka Partnership MWBD -Glenda Washington.

Set your radio to 96.9 Topeka/Lawrence’s first R&B Radio Station and listen for our CEO-Cheryl. It will air starting December 6.

We are closing our 2022 Event Calendar on 🔥. My three peat Customer was determined their daughters 1st birthday would not take a backseat to Christmas. She chose the classic 80’s theme Cabbage Patch Kids and allowed me to go OFF!

Let’s unpack this party. This was not a simple theme, the entire event was custom and allowed me to use my imagination and creativity. The new angle and open arch with balloons cascading made its grand appearance. We played off the polka dots in the main back drop and carried them through the arch and above the cabbage patch. Did you notice the birth certificate was signed by Dare to Dream? We created a cabbage patch, and hung Danielle’s first birthday pictures (check out her cabbage patch look❤️). The desserts in the cart gave the illusion they were growing out of a cabbage patch. Our centerpieces were bold, colorful and striking. The placemats, Hi’C and goodie boxes were a hit. The overall color palette set the tone.

🔔Remember those bells I redesigned with a simple floral pick taking them from drab to fab. I added the bells to the beautiful perfect oval wreaths I purchased from Porterfield's Flowers.
My double doors look amazing, classy and timeless.

I was up early and excited this morning to decorate for my clients who recently purchased a gorgeous home.

Our client loves her white flock tree and was firm on her color palette black, gold and a hint of burgundy accents. We used various shapes and monochromatic colors of ornaments which created dimension, visual interest also different textures. The ribbon color used is gold and the topper a simple classic bell.

I purchased the bells on the left knowing it’s not my taste. So I removed the top layer and added 1 large floral pick securing it with floral wire. I can’t wait to show you how I used them.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Our first in home Christmas design of the season is a banger.

Our client loves traditional Christmas colors and ribbon. Adding pops of plaid ribbon on the tree and around the reindeers neck tied them together and provided a great contrast. On her tree she will add on the bulbs with her granddaughter which is their family tradition💚❤️🎄. We created a three layered swag for the mantel and various ones around the house. Enjoy all these amazing photos of our work. I wish you all could see it in person.
