Prague captured my heart, and filled a little piece of me that felt incomplete until this journey. 💝Experiencing the country where my Dad’s parents were from made each day extra special. The city transports you back in time with mesmerizing gothic cathedrals, towers, and castles, all radiating Old-World charm. 🏰 From the enchanting Old Town Square and Astronomical clock 🕰️(with spectacular views at night), to the winding streets of Lesser Town and historic lamp-lighting of the Charles Bridge 🕯️ each day felt completely unique and immersive. Things that will stick with me: the holiday feel in the chilly air while strolling intimate Christmas Markets ❄️ the gorgeous Strahov Monastery library 📚 and a special birthday dinner at the top of an ancient bell tower 🔔

Spellbound by Vienna ✨ 🏰 It was clear I was visiting, because everywhere I walked I had my head on a swivel, completely bewitched by the gorgeous buildings, museums, cathedrals, and palaces. 🤩 We squeezed every drop of juice out of our three days, visiting 3 museums 🖼️ 7 Christmas markets 🎅 2 famous cafes 🍰 a strudel demonstration 🍏 plus our first Opera 🎶 not to mention the copious amounts of hot beverages I delightfully consumed (as is evident by the array of photos of me embracing various mugs of hot gin punch, gluhwein, and cocoa! ☕️) The holiday spirit in Wein was truly spectacular; what a gift to have been able to experience it. ❄️ 🎁

Made the most of 48 hours in Amsterdam! Beautiful gingerbread-style houses and unique houseboats along the canals 🛥️ world-class museums (Van Gogh 🌻 and Anne Frank 📔 were favorites), plus our first Christmas Market 🎄 of the trip in picturesque Museumplein! Other faves included all the deliciousness we experienced at Watergang, The Seafood Bar, Cafe Winkel 43, and Kaasbar (can every city have a cheese conveyor belt? 🧀 🙏) while we explored narrow house facades 🏘️ , a historic under-bridge prison ⛓️ , and the Light Festival 🌟 along the Herengracht. 💖

Honored to help plan this year’s Big ROCK Gala! 🤘 🎸 ✨ Hosted at the this event featured a temporary tattoo parlor 🖊️ signature ‘rocktails’ 🍸 VIP lounges 🎫 and a special concert from 🎶 with limited edition merch stand 👕 !

I’m grateful that I’ve been working with Amy at Big Brothers Big Sisters Tampa Bay for many years now and together we create such fun, unique, and immersive fundraiser events that keep their donors coming back year after year, and raising critical funds for their wonderful mission! 🤝

So honored to plan the Voices for Children of Tampa Bay’s heartwarming “Brunch for a Brighter Future” where adorable dogs met delicious food and libations, paired with compassionate hearts. Guests enjoyed tasty bites and cocktails while meeting inspiring kids whose lives were being changed through the VFC programs, all while helping foster children build a brighter tomorrow. It was a memorable morning filled with hope, community, and making a real difference.

Hosting our family of 14 is a labor of love, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! A few of our traditions include: an outdoor feast, menus cards (the kiddos menus include activities like coloring and a maze), a favorite dish made from scratch in honor of each person in attendance, a DIY crafted gift from the kids (this year they made ornaments and got to choose who to give them to), a neighborhood walk, and a group photo (this time we were lucky enough to have a professional pic taken by ! 🏆) Grateful for all the blessings and the memories. 💗

Jonah’s football-themed Bar Mitzvah was a total win! From the moment guests arrived they felt the stadium-level energy for his passage into Jewish adulthood with a full-blown Bucs vs Steelers playoff extravaganza. With family roots in Pittsburgh and their current home in Tampa, we honored both teams with themed decor and signature menu offerings, from Primanti sandwiches to grouper sliders, along with tailgate favorites. Kids enjoyed games on the lawn, including dodgeball, co****le, and a giant 2-story inflatable field goal! It was a part of epic proportions that had everyone cheering for their favorite team. Who do you think had the most fans that day? 🏈

My heart is so full! 💗 There aren’t enough words to express how grateful and honored I feel to be named the Volunteer Philanthropist Of The Year by TBBW. All of the finalists were truly incredible change-makers in our community and I am so lucky to just be nominated among them. Philanthropy is selfless by nature; doing good because you can, and not for the notoriety. But receiving this award in recognition of the impact I’m helping to make through our grassroots giving circle , the 10 years of dedicated volunteer service to the Charity Polo Classic and the 200+ nonprofits along the way, and the work I’m doing at in honor of my Dad, felt so incredibly motivating and validating. 🥹 I dedicated this award in my Dad’s honor - he’s been on my heart more than usual this week, and last night felt like a God-wink from him. 🪽

As I said in my completely-shocked-and-unprepared speech, “Feeling gratitude without expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it”.💝 I am truly so thankful for all of the incredible nonprofit organizations who trust me with their events and allow me to be a part of their missions ( to name a few!), and all the friends and family in my life who support me in my endeavors (you know who you are! 🫶🏻), and especially my amazing husband who champions me year after year and is my biggest fan and cheerleader. 📣 I feel so lucky to get to do what I do, and this award feels like the biggest hug, high five, and pat on the back rolled into one.
