Founded in 1987, MPI Tampa Bay Area is the area's recognized industry leader and the connection point for meeting professionals and the business community.

Established in 1984, the Tampa Bay Area Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) boasts 350 members in the seven county area surrounding Tampa Bay. From Hernando to Sarasota and Pinellas to Polk, we are ranked in the Top Third of all of MPI’s seventy-nine Chapters for member satisfaction, receiving international recognition and a 2012 RISE Award for our acclaimed Connections Campaign. We are a MPI Chapter on the move - rich with talented, dedicated and energized Meeting and Event Professionals PASSIONATE about quality education, enhanced networking opportunities and tools to make us more effective in our community, industry and organization. Complimentary parking is included for all attendees.

Turn left onto McKinley (40th Street). Special event parking will be located on McKinley Ave to the left.

Continue along the access road, which leads to guest drop-off and bus parking near the front of the park. You will pass the regular front entrance and proceed to the Security Guard station.

Please provide the Security Guard with your full name and advise of your attendance to the “MPI Event.” You will then be cleared to enter and park.

SPECIAL TOUR EXPERIENCE

Following the meeting, guests are invited to stay for a special behind-the-scenes tour of Busch Gardens, including a hard hat preview of the newest habitat, Lion & Hyena Ridge, which will soon open as a new outdoor reception venue for private events.

For safety purposes, guests planning to participate in the tour are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes.
