A couple weeks back I headed up to Gainesville for my semi-annual weekend of shoots and got to reconnect with 6 different families to capture so many special milestones. Truly one of the biggest honors is having clients come back to me again and again through all seasons of life.

I’ll always say weddings are my specialty, but honestly, the thing closest to my heart is returning clients. Nothing means more than being trusted to keep documenting your stories as your families grow and change over the years.

Imposter syndrome is such a weird thing—and honestly, I hate it.

I know trends change. Styles evolve. And sometimes I catch myself feeling “old” for not loving where things are going… while also not wanting to change what I’m deeply passionate about.

And then I have sessions like this.

Clients who don’t second guess choosing me after seeing my work. Who I instantly click with—like this engagement session—and it reminds me exactly why I do this.

It’s the biggest reminder to stay true to yourself. Because there are people out there saving your work, hoping you’re the one they get to book.

And that means everything 🤍

You two may be in Greece on your honeymoon (lucky!), but I couldn’t resist a sneak peek post of this stunning garden inspired wedding. The day called for rain, instead it brought the most whimsical breezy weather that was so fitting for the theme. Watching the Spanish moss sway with the storm under the big oaks of Kanapaha was a total vibe. The day was so beautiful and intimate and I had a lovely time hanging out with all your family and friends. Thank you and for trusting me to capture your day. One of those perfect weather kind of days that just sets the tone for everything else. The entire wedding felt so calm, relaxed, and genuinely peaceful—exactly how it should be. They spent the day surrounded by a small group of their closest people, soaking in every moment. From a sweet, short ceremony to a seamless venue flip, trivia that had everyone laughing, and of course… a packed dance floor. And the love?
