What a wild, rain-slicked ride the June Trivia Challenge has been at Primal'Cue! We’ve had massive scores, heavy turnouts, and an uninvited guest appearance from Mother Nature who completely rained us out for Week 2. But a little weather can't stop the smartest nerds in Sun Prairie, and now we are down to the FINAL WEEK of the month. You know what that means: CHAOS RULES are officially locked and loaded for the finale!

According to the official Primal Cue Trivia Challenge Tracker, here is how the monthly sandbox looks before the chaos takes over and threatens to tear down the entire leaderboard:

👑 The Target on Their Backs
▢ Team Zissou is absolutely setting the pace this month, sitting comfortably at the top with 10 Challenge Points and a total score of 173. Operating as a tight, hyper-efficient 2-person crew, they are currently holding the crown—but nobody is safe next week.

🥈 The Gridlock for Second
▢ Sugar & Spice (carrying a massive army averaging 6.5 players) and The Bottom Feeders are currently deadlocked in a tie for second place with 4 Challenge Points each. Both squads have shown ultimate loyalty by locking in 100% attendance for the games played so far, and they are perfectly positioned to strike if the leaders falter under Chaos Rules.

💥 The Spoiler Squads
▢ Jeopardy's Nuts (3 pts), Wrong Answers Only (2 pts), and Keepin' It Real (1 pt) have all proven they have the raw firepower to post massive, near-triple-digit trivia scores when they show up. With Chaos Rules invading the Halftime and Final questions next week, these heavy hitters could easily blow up the standings and completely flip the final podium!

What a night at Primal'Cue! The Tri-Tip was flowing, the beers were cold, and the trivia brains of Sun Prairie were operating at maximum capacity. We learned a few critical things last night—mostly that this crowd knows its dairy, but some of you need to brush up on your prehistoric reptiles.

Here is how the chaos shook out:

🧀 The Great Halftime Gouda Rush
When the Halftime question called for naming 6 of the top 10 most popular cheeses in the world, Sun Prairie absolute understood the assignment.

▢ Jeopardy's Nuts, Keepin' It Real, Team Zissou, and Wrong Answers Only all flexed their dairy dominance, pulling down a perfect 12 points on the halftime page.
▢ Clearly, knowing your Brie from your Cheddar is a critical survival skill in Wisconsin.

🦖 The Final Dinosaur Drop
Then came the Final Question on Cretaceous predators. The answer we wanted was the Velociraptor (the "Swift Robber"). Sadly, a Pterodactyl is a pterosaur, not a dinosaur, and the final wager rules are absolutely brutal.

▢ Bottom Feeders took a massive -20 point hit right at the buzzer. Ouch.
▢ Sugar & Spice also felt a minor sting, dropping 2 points on the final turn.

When the smoke cleared and the final calculation was done, here is how the leaderboard looked:
