Many people have been talking about name warding on social media lately. It’s become a popular magical method of turning gossip (even positive talk) into blessings, but how does it work?

For those who are unfamiliar, this working falls into the category known as “transmutation magic”, and warding your name is a form of a “transmutation ward”. Transmutation is the concept of harvesting energy and transforming it into a different one.

For our community spell, I will be working with the following petition:

“Anytime anyone speaks, writes, thinks, or types these names (whether negative or positive) that energy is transmuted and redirected to the nameholder in the form of immediate positive blessings and good fortune.”

This is a great way to turn wanted or unwanted attention into a win for you.

How do I do it?

The star of my personal transmutation show is the 🍄Inky Cap Mushroom.🍄 Mushrooms are nature’s natural transmuters, growing on dead and decaying matter, breaking it down, and transforming it into new life. Inky Caps, as the name would suggest, naturally break down into a dark black ink. By combining this mushroom with activated charcoal (for its absorbent qualities) alcohol to preserve, and intention work to activate, I have invented my own proprietary ✨Transmutation Ink!✨

I’ll be using this ink to write down every single name that signs up and performing a ritual to not only protect us from the energy of the evil eye (often sent through jealousy and gossip) but capture and transform that energy and send it to you in the form of good fortune!
