What a week! 🔥❤️ Dancing ALL day, ALL week, because if there’s a dance floor, you already know the One Take Team is on it! 😂🙌🏻

From battles, workshops & cyphers to new friendships, laughs, and nonstop dancing, this experience was so much more than competition.

Our students experienced it all with their coaches & directors right there beside them, dancing, cheering, guiding, supporting, and making memories together. 🫶🏻

And a special shoutout to from Iowa! 🙌🏻🔥 Just one of the many new friendships we made throughout the week. So much love, support, and amazing energy from everyone we connected with!

We're building more than dancers, we’re helping young people grow through movement, mentorship, discipline, teamwork, and real experiences that can stay with them far beyond the studio.

Our 2026–2027 AAU Athlete Development Academy is open to all levels in Breaking and Hip-Hop/Freestyle, creating a space for youth to learn, challenge themselves, build confidence, support one another, and work toward meaningful opportunities along the way.

From training and performances to competition experiences and the AAU Junior Olympic pathway, the journey is about growth, community, and helping each athlete discover what they are capable of.

Unfortunately, we need to cancel this Friday’s Breaking Workshop with Bboy Baby Face due to an unexpected family emergency that required him to travel out of the country.

Our thoughts are with Baby Face and his family during this time, and we truly appreciate everyone’s understanding and support. ❤️

We are hoping to bring this workshop back in the near future once Baby Face is able to return, and we would love the opportunity to make it happen then.

Anyone who has already registered will receive a full refund.

Meet .babyface 🇭🇳 a Honduran breaker with over 17 years of experience.

His journey began with music at age 6 before discovering breaking in his neighborhood at 12. Since then, he has represented Honduras in 10+ countries across North America, South America, and Europe, and has collaborated with brands including Monster Honduras and Mountain Dew Honduras.

Known for a dynamic, powerful, and direct style, Baby Face brings the mindset of Made in Honduras Crew: create, develop your own identity, and make every round count.

Some moments remind us that what we are building goes far beyond dance & martial arts. ❤️

For an entire week, our campers and students secretly came together as a group to plan the sweetest early, morning surprise for their head coaches and mentors, Coach Sonik & Neverless. They walked in with a beautiful basket filled with love, thoughtful gifts, kind words, and the most genuine intentions. 🥹❤️

But what touched us the most wasn’t the basket itself, it was seeing how beautifully they came together as a community. They worked collectively to create something meaningful, not only to show love and appreciation for their coaches, but also for their home, their studio, and one another.

Their words brought our coaches to tears. To hear what One Take means to them, to feel their love, and to witness the bond they’ve created with each other was truly everything to us.

These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do. We are beyond grateful for the incredible community we have built, and continue to build, at One Take. A space where we grow, create, support, inspire, and love one another.

Our hearts are so full. ❤️

Thank you to our students and campers for reminding us that One Take is more than a studio… it’s a family. 🫶🏽✨

From watching live, to the video calls, messages, cheers, excitement & nonstop positive energy, you brought so much joy to our Breaking & Hip Hop team in Des Moines! 🔥

Seeing our youth supporting, celebrating, and being inspired by one another is what this is all about.

So grateful for the commUNITY we continue to build. More than a studio. We’re a family that shows up for each other every step of the way. ❤️💙🤍 ×
