The big day is almost here!

Join the celebration tomorrow, April 18, at Fellows Lake for the grand opening of The Hatch: A Playground for All — a brand-new, all-inclusive space for kids of all abilities to play and explore. Thanks to the amazing efforts of the Kiwanis Club of Springfield South and Play-4-All, this community project is ready to open!

Happy Tuesday everyone. We want to acknowledge our youngest friends today on our Toddler Tuesday. Here is a fun and educational activity to do with your little ones. We call this the 8 little B-ees. It’s essential to have our little ones crossing the midline, so get a piece of paper and with a marker draw the figure 8 sideways, then have them trace over it in chalk. Next is our Bs, this one you can do the same or get whipped cream and load up a baking pan and help our friends draw the letter B. This will help in numerous ways and it’s enjoyable for our children. If you want to keep the fun going, here’s a fun art project and you can get everything from a dollar tree or use what’s on hand.
