I never like to copy another floral design EXACTLY how it was because 1. It’s not easy, 2. I feel like it’s basically ‘plagiarism’ in the floral world, and 3. It’s important to add your own creativity..within reason (I get it.. a bride should get what they want!). BUT when you are asked to re-create a bridal bouquet for an anniversary celebration, I can make an exception in order to revisit such a special memory.
The top photo was a bride’s bouquet from the 70s (I’d credit the florist if I could), and my re-creation is below. How did I do?? Quite challenging to know exact colors and even some flowers due to film being so different back then, but I’m quite pleased how it turned out. I hope it took this couple right back to their wedding day, where their life together was only just beginning♥️♥️
