💕 Salt & Sugar porch bakery update! 💕

With the recent reports of porch bakery stands being shut down in our area, I’ve decided to make a little change before ours officially opens.

I’ve poured so much time, work, and heart into Salt & Sugar, and I don’t want to jeopardize everything I’ve been working toward. This business means too much to me to take that chance. 💕

I won’t have the porch bakery out unattended. Instead, I’ll have it open on certain days and during scheduled hours, with me there to welcome you and help you pick your goodies! 🍪🧁

You can absolutely still place orders directly with me! Just send me a message, and we’ll get your sweet fix handled. 😉

It’s not about being the BEST.
It’s not about being the CHEAPEST.
It’s about the creativity you have inside you and putting a little piece of yourself into what you create. 💕

While I was making this cake, I questioned EVERYTHING. 😂
“It’s not perfect.”
“She’s not gonna like it.”
“It’s too small.”
“The pink isn’t right.”
You know… all those little voices that make you doubt yourself.

And then I got this message. 🥹😭💕

Her granddaughter LOVED IT.

THAT is why I do what I do. Not because every cake is perfect. Not because I’m trying to compete with anybody else. But because something I created with my own two hands became part of someone’s special day.

I freaking love what I do. 🎂💗
And messages like this will forever mean more to me than people realize.
