In 2019 we took the boys to see the 9/11 memorial and although they smile in these pictures, it is only because that is what they know to do in pictures, not because it was a happy moment. In fact, we spent the entire time morning those we lost and educating them on the history of that day and what this means. They left in tears I pray they never have to go through this in their lifetime.

at 8:41 AM on September 11, 2001, I was in the computer lab of the business center at the UT San Antonio . My mother was in the air going to a business meeting. I will never forget that day.

But our prayers are with Sammy, player of the week and our incredible goal keeper. He took a horrible hit to the head game 1 of the weekend & will be out for several weeks post surgery. Sports are a scary thing sometimes and we’re so grateful he will be ok. He is one heck of a player and teammate! The SA City family is behind you Sammy!!

We’re starting up something in Scottsdale, AZ this week! It may be 110° but not so bad in the pool… before 3 days of site visit appointments and another opportunity to recreate this resort into something special for our client! Now when they arrive in January, it’ll be sunny and 70!

I’m not sure how to start this one…. 18!! 18 years of being his mama, 18 years of hugs, boo boos, laughs, celebrations, wiping tears, calming nerves, from tummy time and babbles to learning to drive and college tours…. It’s unbelievable. Trying to remind myself how lucky I am to have a strong, healthy, kind, independent, ambitious, generous, loving MAN I get to call my son. Ugh.

Happy GOLDEN 18th Birthday adenwaltman You are loved beyond words. We are all so proud of you. Being a man is a lifelong journey & you always have us right there beside you.
