Ashley and Chris had a gorgeous wedding day, with clear skies and sunshine setting the perfect scene. They got ready at the Hilton Bayfront before heading to the River House, where their ceremony overlooked the water and lighthouse.

Ashley shared a first look with her dad, while she and Chris chose a first touch instead. He had a vision of how he wanted to experience seeing her for the first time as she walked down the aisle. Afterward, he said it was as amazing as he had imagined, from the music to the overwhelming excitement, it was just as he had envisioned!

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour at sunset on the terrace before moving into the reception. One of the best moments of the night was Chris and his kids tearing up the dance floor with an unplanned, show-stopping routine that had everyone watching. It was so smooth, it felt like they’d been perfecting it in their living room for years! The kids also gave heartfelt speeches that left more than a few eyes tearing up.

It was a day full of love, celebration, and meaningful moments. Congratulations to Ashley and Chris!

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Karli for years. She started with the Wedding Authority and recently branched out on her own as .events . It was such a joy to capture her and her husband’s sweet expressions and beautiful connection.

Karli chose Julington-Durbin Creek Preserve for the session, a field of grasses that made for the perfect backdrop. On the way there, I realized I had done my own maternity session at this very spot—almost exactly 11 years ago in February 2014. It’s funny how time passes and places hold memories, just waiting to be rediscovered.

Brooke called us Sunday evening to ask if we were we available for a sunrise engagement session the next morning. I could hear the excitement in her voice as she shared that she and Jack had just gotten engaged moments before calling. Of course, I said yes, and I couldn’t wait to meet them.

These high school sweethearts have built a life together—Brooke as a hairstylist and Jack as a fireman—and now they’re stepping into this next chapter. The morning of their engagement, they got matching shark-themed tattoos, and that evening, as the sun set over the beach, Jack got down on one knee. We couldn’t resist recreating that special moment at the start of their session.

We love that Kelly had this reaction before he even had the ring out. This was such a special proposal on the bayfront, with her sister and her boyfriend there to witness the moment. Her sister helped coordinate every detail, making it even more meaningful. It’s always an honor to capture these milestones, and even more special when a friend and family member makes the connection. Congratulations to this sweet couple!

This sunrise beach proposal was so special! Dylan and Sydney came into town with their dog, staying with her best friend Brandi and her husband, who helped orchestrate the whole thing. Brandi called me to help plan the proposal, sharing that Sydney might have a hunch it was coming. When Sydney asked if she should get her nails done, Brandi gave the perfect reply: “It’s always a good idea to get your nails done!”

Brandi went all out, dropping off a basket with champagne, photos, and other thoughtful gifts to make the moment even more memorable. On the big day, Brandi and her husband came along for support, hanging back as Dylan proposed to Sydney by the rock jetty.

It was a beautiful moment to capture and a true testament to friendship and love. Congratulations to Dylan and Sydney!

The Granger family’s session at her grandparents’ beach home was especially meaningful, as the house was sold shortly afterward, making it our final time capturing memories in this beloved location. The first session here was for Vallie’s first birthday, and this time, I got to meet baby sister Dottie. It was bittersweet to document these moments, knowing how much this home has meant to their family. I’ve had the honor of photographing the Grangers since their wedding at TPC Sawgrass in 2017, and being part of their journey is something I’ll always cherish.

This is a proposal that almost didn’t happen. Of course you know how busy the Nights of Lights are in St. Augustine. TONS of people were at the location where Russ wanted to propose to Madison. In fact, this photographer was using the space for a long time right when we needed it empty. We told her that a proposal was going to happen but she didn’t understand and wouldn’t move over just a bit. Eventually it all worked out and we got the perfect shot. The lights are pretty but it was definitely one of our closest calls with a proposal. Congratulations you two.

Even in winter I get to do beach sessions. Luckily it wasn’t too cold unlike today when I captured the Littman family. I’m so happy they did matching coordinated outfits. I recommend everyone do that for the best photos. Is summer here yet?

I haven’t been shooting too many elopements lately. It’s winter time😄 but Cassandra and Sean braved the cold and we headed to Washington Oaks park for a gorgeous day. This cute couple actually own a bridal shop in their hometown. Check out a few of their pics. Thanks for having me guys!

Hi again social media. It’s been a little bit. We took off to spend time with family and we hope you had a great holiday too. Even though I wasn’t posting I definitely was shooting. Several weddings, a few family shoots, and a ton of proposals. This is Chase and Madison. Such a sweet couple and some great emotions on this one. We coordinated everything and captured it at all Vilano Beach.
