We are taking it back to Chrissy & Travis’s unforgettable Wedding that kicked off November’s Weddings! It’s no secret that this is one of my favorite times of year for a Wedding, and there is good reason for why the end of the year is notoriously peak Wedding season here in St. Augustine. Not only is the weather typically pretty incredible, but the sunsets are an actual dream and these photos are evidence of that! Chrissy and Travis were incredible to work with, and their love for one another was just the absolute sweetest. They tied the knot at The Cathedral Basillica, one of the most stunning historic churches that the US has to offer. Following their Ceremony, guests made their way to The Grand Ballroom at The White Room for a stunning Reception. Chrissy & Travis’s day exuded classic elegance, with the Royal Weddings as Chrissy’s inspiration. She looked like an ABSOLUTE QUEEN during the Ceremony with a stunning cape to compliment her classic gown and a tiara on top of her head that was perfectly fit for the queen that she is! What an incredible team of vendors that came together to celebrate such a special couple! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this special day! 🤍

What a DREAM Wedding! Alex & Mike tied the knot in the Courtyard of The Lightner Museum & danced the night away during an epic Reception in the Dining Hall of Flagler College! Their day could not have been more seamless, from the gorgeous and historic venues that they chose as the backdrop for their love story, the weather, incredible team of vendors and flow of events, everything was perfect! After a beautiful Lightner Ceremony in the Courtyard, guests joined in a fun filled 8-hour Reception at Flagler College that was infused with Polish traditions. What would a Polish Wedding be without bottles of Belvedere at each table and shot glass guest favors?! Not to mention an incredible DJ who performs across Poland and Europe. To say the day went quickly from all of the fun is an understatement, there wasn’t a moment that the dance floor wasn’t filled the entire evening. What an unforgettable day celebrating the love of Alex and Mike! 🤍

Wow what an incredible way to end an amazing chapter and begin a New Year by celebrating the love of two incredibly close friends! Chelsea and Drew will forever have a special place in our hearts! Chelsea is not only someone who I have considered a best friend since childhood, but she is also the one responsible for introducing me to my soulmate over seven years ago, so when she met hers and was ready to tie the knot you can only imagine how overjoyed I was when she asked me to plan and design their big day! Living in TX and planning a Wedding in your hometown of St. Augustine is no easy fete if you don’t have the right team to help you navigate the process. I worked closely with C&D to help them find the perfect venue and vendors for their big day. C&D shared their vision with me but gave me creative freedom with the design and details, and that freedom and trust really allowed me to bring the magic! From the design I dreamed up for the obelisk monument honoring where Ponce de Leon landed to discover North America to the ceiling dripping in chandeliers, disco balls and greenery this was one for the books! We had the most incredible sunset to reflect their palette as Chelsea walked down the aisle to say “I Do” to Drew, who could not be a more perfect person from one of my oldest best friends to spend her life with. Their love was reflected back at them by everyone that they love and shared this special day with. I’m pretty sure we were all left wanting more and to turn around and do it all over again! 🤍✨

Amie & Charlie were such a joy to work with, Amie was always on top of it during the planning process but what I loved most of them as a couple was their love for one another which was evident by the way that they looked at each other.

Amie and I poured so much love into the details of their day to make it special and exactly as she envisioned! I sourced their venue for their intimate beachfront wedding, and found the most perfect rental property to celebrate their nuptials at . We were all so incredibly excited to see all of their dreams and details fall into place on the big day! When you spend many months planning one of the most important days of your life, the last thing that you imagine going wrong is falling incredibly ill on your own wedding day and unfortunately that is what happened. Anyone that has worked with me knows that I will bend over backwards for my clients, so when this happened to my sweet Bride Amie, I quickly jumped and pulled out all of the tools in my self-care tool box to try to help. We had to move a few things around on the day-of and I may have done Amie’s hair and makeup before the Ceremony, but I am SO incredibly happy that Amie was able to regain enough strength to make it down the aisle to join Charlie in marriage. Charlie was just the sweetest Groom, he didn’t care what happened and just wanted her to feel better which to me was just one of the many testaments to their love. Wishing these two beautiful people a lifetime of love and happiness together! 🤍

Last month Kelsi Elizabeth Events won Best of Florida Event Planners! To say that I am incredibly grateful to have been nominated, let alone to have won is an understatement. I would again like to take a moment to extend my sincerest gratitude to everyone who nominated and voted for as Best of Florida Event Planners! I am so incredibly grateful for each and every one of my clients, and to have the opportunity to do what I love while bringing love & joy into other people’s lives, which has been the greatest blessing! 🤍

Many people only see the end result in what we do, and not necessarily all of the hard work and love that goes into executing an event along the way. It is a wonderful feeling to be acknowledged for all of our effort & our pursuit of excellence! Special Events, especially Weddings, are a once in a lifetime event and that is something that we have never taken lightly.

To say that the details of Hannah & Brandon’s big day deserve a spot on the feed is an understatement! I don’t know if a more perfect palette for the Ballroom at exists! Hannah and I dissected color palettes from inspiration that she loved at length and communicated her preferences to and without being able to find an exact example to illustrate it. Let me just say, Hannah had to have a lot faith in us to pull it off despite not necessarily seeing how it will all come together. Which if I must say, was better than we could have imagined. To say that knocked this palette, floral recipe and design out of the park is an absolute understatement! This may be one of my favorite palettes to date! 🍂

You all know that I love a good statement piece, and this custom seating chart was one for the books! Throughout the planning process it became apparent to me that Hannah’s design preferences incorporated a lot of texture, so that became a guideline for me when I worked through the visual aspects of their design. With a choice of plated entree, I wanted to incorporate something that illustrated the guests entree choices but also looked beautiful altogether while speaking to their love story. That’s where the influence of terracotta and travertine tiles came from. 🔸

Since Hannah & Brandon got engaged on a beach in Ibiza, Spain, I wanted to tie that into the design. Thankfully, I’ve been to Ibiza, and my memories of this special place immediately brought to mind the idea of incorporating terracotta and travertine tiles into the design which created the perfect elements for their custom seating chart while also tiling 😉 into the color palette.

It was a combined effort to execute this design, with Hannah and Brandon volunteering to take on the project of building the walls needed to display the tiles. When the vendor I sourced for the tiles fell through a month prior, I decided to take on the project of sourcing and creating the tiles. With my Mom as a skilled artist and calligrapher, I was confident that she would be able to handle the writing on the wall and that she did! I used my cricut to add the decal to the top of the wall on the day of.

went above and beyond last minute with the floral additions which absolutely completed the design!

The result was absolute MAGIC, and the tile wall turned out better than any of us could have ever imagined! ✨

I am also so pleased to announce that with no local rental companies offering favor walls, we coordinated with who agreed to add this beautiful wall to their rental collection to be used for other future events as well! 🤍

This sweet couple deserves ALL of the praise and celebration after not one, but two, last minute changes to their Ceremony location! Changes that were completely outside of anyones control that they handled with such immense grace that I can’t even begin to express how grateful that I am for them as clients. Few people are capable of pivoting without expressing some level of resistance, especially when you’re invested in something on multiple levels like a Wedding. However, there is much to life that we unfortunately cannot control and only the wise truly understand that. If there is one thing that I am grateful to have learned along the way and that Loren and George clearly have as well, it is that it is not necessarily about what happens to us in life but more so about how we handle it. Our response has the power to make us either a victim to our circumstances or propel us forward in-spite of them as we learn to embrace what is. They say “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain..” and that Loren & George most definitely did on their big day! It was truly an honor to bear witness to this special couples unity, and I am most confident that they have the necessary foundation to support what is required for a successful marriage. Thank you for trusting me to pull through as we pivoted not once but twice on your journey down the aisle, and may you two enjoy a lifetime of love, happiness and grace together! 🥂

Where do I begin with Kacey & Kenny’s timeless Wedding?! Kacey was an absolute dream to work with, and I still joke that she is my spirit Bride! Kacey’s style mirrors my own, so I was thrilled during our initial call when she shared her vision of a classic wedding infused with chinoiserie and grand millennial details and everything that she was planning for her big day! Kacey is a natural planner as well, and could hands without a doubt thrive as an Event Planner as well which is something that I often seriously joked with her about and it just made working together incredibly seamless. We were always on the same page, and so naturally their Wedding day unfolded with grace and ease! Their Villa Blanca Ceremony was filled with beautiful details from a floral adorned cross, the most beautiful floral filled ginger jars and gold bamboo accents, and a generations of love display that highlighted the strong foundation for marriage that Kacey and Kenny have adopted from their families. Their Reception was in The Loft & Rooftop, which again is my favorite combination of venues, and let me tell you that the rain held out all day and we had impeccable timing to be able to enjoy the Rooftop during those big moments like cocktail hour and the special dances! The dance floor was LIT at the end of the night after we moved into the Loft and everyone had an absolutely incredible time! I’m so excited to share their day with you all, and even more honored that I was able to be a part of it! ✨

The Newberry’s
6.4.2023 ✨

So excited to finally share the sneaks from Mary & Eric’s much anticipated big day at ! Mary & Eric originally planned to get married last October, but the week prior to their big day a hurricane hit St. Augustine and caused substantial flooding and damage that forced us to pivot last minute and reschedule to this June. They originally had Day-Of, but since they had more time to plan after having to postpone they decided to add-on design services with me in order to elevate their event and bring to life Mary’s vision of a coastal enchanted forest with subtle Disney details and aesthetics pulled from the movie “Stardust” which is one of my favorite fantasies as well so I was SO excited for the challenge! I was able to completely redesign Mary and Eric’s big day with most of the details that they had already contracted for such as florals, and the decor that they had already purchased. We added a few additional rentals from to complete the overall design, and revised the linen selections, floral & cake designs slightly to allocate the design elements in a way that would add more of statement and impact to the overall design. I came up with some pretty creative and authentic designs for this one like a memory “wisps” table from the movie “Brave” that I can’t wait to share with you all! The result was INCREDIBLE! It was such a pleasure working with these two, Mary and I got so close throughout the process and she was just such a joy! It was such an honor to be able to add even more excitement and anticipation for their big day after the postponement as well! Stay tuned for even more details from their big day! ✨

What an unforgettable day celebrating Maddie & Kevin in beautiful Naples, FL! Maddie & Kev couldn’t be a more perfect pair, and it was truly an honor to work with them both! Their day was brimmed with thoughtful details and an incredible design that was elevated by the beautiful architecture and atmosphere of The Club at Mediterra. Maddie and I worked closely to bring together the design and details for their big day, which was inspired by elevated tropical yet romantic touches and a natural color palette that played off of the details of the venue. With Maddie being an Event Planner herself and also insanely creative, the whole planning process was seamless and we were always on the same wavelength when it came to ideas and decisions. When all of the details came together on their big day, it was a literal dream! The only thing that made it even better, was Maddie and Kevin’s love for one another which was evident as they said “I do” on the front lawn surrounded by the love and support of their family and friends. I can’t wait to see the full gallery of this incredible day, and share more of the details! is a true artist and made it difficult for me to choose just a few sneaks to share!

Fun Fact: Film Photography which is timeless, soft and dreamy like these images captured by is very much a niche within the Wedding industry, and it is considered a true art form to shoot in film. You have to be more intentional when shooting in film, and not only do you have to know your way around a camera, but you have to be a highly skilled photographer as well. Justin and Ashley are not only incredibly talented, but they were an absolute dream to work with as well!
