🌎 Illinois now has a statewide paint recycling program!
Starting December 1, households and businesses across Illinois can bring leftover paint, stain, sealers and varnish to more than 250 drop-off locations for recycling at no cost. This program makes it easier than ever to keep leftover paint out of landfills while supporting a more sustainable future. Just drop it off and let the program handle the rest. ♻️

We are excited to be part of Geoffrey Baer’s Chicago Works segment on WTTW. The crew stopped by to learn how we collect waste and recycling across our communities and what it takes to keep everything moving each day.

⭐ Employee Spotlight: Cody Anderson ⭐

Cody is one of our newest residential drivers and already making an impact. While collecting trash in Stronghurst, IL he noticed smoke coming from a home. Cody immediately notified the family inside and stayed on site until the fire department arrived. Everyone was able to evacuate safely.

We appreciate his courage and clear thinking and are proud to share his story.

Service Alert: Midwest Winter Weather!

A winter storm is affecting parts of the Midwest today and slowing collection. ❄️🚛 Our crews are out and working hard, but some homes and businesses may not receive service.

We will have extra trucks in the area on Monday to support recovery. For updates specific to your area, please visit your local LRS page.

What an awesome day in the 13th Ward! 🚛💨 Bob and Drago, our Shop Manager and Journeyman Mechanic from the Chicago Packers Ave team, rolled up to the annual Touch-A-Truck event at Kinzie Elementary! 💪👷‍♂️

Families, kids and community members got to climb aboard, honk the horn and learn how we help keep Chicago clean! 💚♻️
