🌿 HAPPY EARTH DAY, EVERYONE!! Earth day is a day to celebrate doing good for the environment, but we want to remind you that caring about the planet is always in-season! This Earth Month, we wanted to share a few sustainability tips for all types of catered events that you may throw this year!

Our next tip is for those of you planning your social events from Mother’s Day to Graduation to Birthdays and more! When planning a social event, in conjunction with choosing in-season options and using our eco-friendly disposables, make sure to order an appropriate amount to reduce leftover waste. On our delivery menu, we notate how many people an item serves to help!

🌿 This Earth Month, we wanted to share a few sustainability tips for all types of catered events that you may throw this year!

Our first tip is for those of you planning your corporate events be it meetings, happy hours and more! For your next corporate gathering, consider using our disposable plates, flatware, and serving utensils! All of our disposables are completely 100% compostable and / or recyclable. We have biodegradable delivery packaging consisting of balsa wood platters, plant fiber containers, palm leaf plates, and wood utensils.

🥒 A blend of tequila, lime juice, honey, jalapeños, and cucumbers makes for a sweet and refreshing margarita with a kick thanks to the bartenders at Hotel AKA Back Bay (with slight alterations from our team). The Spicy Cucumber Margarita from is a fun cocktail perfect for summer gatherings, barbecues, and garden parties!

Watch our tomatoes from our herb garden last year grow throughout the month as we share with you our sustainable practices that ensure our operations are as green as our ingredients and even tips you can use to make your next even as eco-friendly as it can be!

🌱 Our first tip / mention of the month is our partnership with ~ a collective of eco-conscious vendors in the event industry that are committed to furthering education on sustainability and engaging in eco-friendly business practices! We are a proud member and have been since 2022 and are thankful to be able to learn from such a wonderful collective and continuing to better ourselves by evolving our sustainability standards! Keep an eye out for all the fun events that GWA hosts such as the Spring Recyclery coming up on 4/27/25!
