Good morning everyone! Happy Saturday day off from work! Hope the start of the day is going well. Got your coffee on! Maybe morning walk/workout in! Maybe take the dog for a walk? Maybe sitting on the couch watching your morning ritual TV programming! Go catch up on that neglected yard work you've been putting off😂
Anyway...I just wanted to let people know about how I want things to be and feel at Valley Rox, And how I envisioned this when I decided to undergo this endeavor and how if a place like this existed how I would love to go there myself because it is what it is and it's something that's offering something different to the community other than what you or I are probably used to seeing.
So Valley Rox is NOT! a night club, or a bar. I did not want to just go that same old tired out format that I've seen time and time again. You know what I mean? You got your bar, pool table, dart board, TV screen with sports in the background, Junk bar food that you know you shouldn't probably be eating anyways lol.
bla bla bla.. I don't want people or guests to get the wrong idea or have a certain perception and then come here and not meet those expectations. So if you come here expecting what you're probably used to going to and not seeing what you're probably used to seeing and getting disappointed? I am sorry this was not your cup of tea for a nights out...
So! My vision for Valley Rox was to build something inspired by a musician for musicians. Something that focuses the entire evening around the musician/performer like you would normally do when going to any concert right? and to give them the best place to perform in the Valley. That's why I named it "Valley Rox". I didn't want to open a bar and grill and just have a little stage off to the side for a band. I wanted and WANT! a place that sounds/looks and feels like no other place for this size of venue around here. I wanted a place that I would want to go to.
Also Valley Rox is gunna be an all ages venue. That way if you are a performer you can bring the whole family so that way they can see Mom or Pop perform. And how cool would that be! I don't think there's a place that does that? Not from what I know? I could be wrong! I'm hoping Valley Rox isn't just a place where bands just come and play. But I want to set a culture for original artists and performers and the general public that Valley Rox is trying to offer something a little different than we are used to seeing. A fun/exciting cheap night out without blowing up your wallet or bank account for a little entertainment!
And it's gunna get better. This is just to start things off. More Ideas will come, More cool things will be on the way, The place isn't gunna stay like this forever. I'm always brain storming on how it's gonna be in a year from now. I'm sure people will come my way and be a great help, And also offer new ideas. I hope to be a better Business owner and learn from people who know more than me in this sort of thing.
So I just wanted to get this out and off my chest cause I've already had some feedback from people who have good intentions on offering their ideas and "experience". And I appreciate people taking the time to offer their constructive criticisms in good faith.
I built this place for those of us who don't want to drive 45 min/1 hour somewhere and pay $20 for valet parking. Spend $15 per drink, Lord knows how much the food costs, and you have to tip! Lol before you know it $200 is out the window....GONE! And that's after you have already purchased the tickets! ITS NOT CHEAP TO HAVE FUN IN LOS ANGELES!
Valley Rox is expected to be a 10/15 minute drive in the valley west of the 405 Fwy. Plenty of Free parking! Close to home, easy on the budget and you're in and out in two hours. And your bank account/credit card didn't catch 🔥 from swiping it so many times!
I can't wait for the first night to happen!
