We have never been closed on a Saturday, but this one is special.
It is Madam and Klondikeā€™s wedding anniversary. This year marks 12 years of marriage. 20 years together.

On October 3rd, this Mom nā€™ Pop eloped in New Orleans at a haunted Court House. They were joined in matrimony with a couple of pawn shop rings, by a charming and crooked judge who stole $95 dollars from them.

Two crazy kids. Alone and in love. Promised to be eachotherā€™s person til death. In sickness and in health.

Two black sheep made a family that day. We have been working our asses off this year and have created something very special at the Parlor.

Occasionally, we get some as***le that pitches a fit if we close early one night, or if we close for a private party or if our website is not updated etc.
It is WILD how hard folks police small businesses and hold them to standards they donā€™t even hold large corporations to.

We love and respect our customers deeply and never want to disappoint them, but today, we are taking a unforeseen break.

Please donā€™t cry about it. We will be open again tomorrow at 5!

In the meantime. Happy Anniversary to us and cheers to anyone fighting for a dream in these crumbling times.
