The Jack London opened in June 2011 in the bas

ement of the historical Rialto Pool Room. The Jack London is dark, filled with art and hosts events like book readings, variety shows, lectures and storytelling during the week and music/dancing on Saturday. Tuesday Night Lectures start at 7:30 and the doors to the basement open by 6:00 p.m for seating. The basement has its own full bar and you can order food from the full menu. Happy hour is available in the pool room before shows where you can enjoy well drinks and micro brews for just 3.25 and a full menu. To get to the Jack London: Enter through the main doors in The Rialto at 529 SW 4th Ave. Head straight back towards the big blue neon sign and take the stairs to the basement.
