eplace, plentiful windows and French doors to a deck overlooking the grounds. Mature trees and lovely perennials frame the garden, and a rose covered trellis creates a focal point for a romantic outdoor wedding or reception in summer and early fall. The Overlook House is a perfect venue for your wedding, anniversary party, business retreat or any special event that deserves a beautiful and unique setting. Overlook House is in the heart of the city but off the beaten path. The house and grounds are adaptable for indoor and outdoor events. Furniture and rooms can be arranged to fit your needs. Chairs, tables, dishes and silverware are available for your guests, along with a full kitchen for food preparation, do-it-yourself or by your caterer. Stewardship of the Overlook House is provided by the volunteers of the Friends of the Overlook House through a special agreement with the City of Portland’s Office of Neighborhood Involvement/North Portland Neighborhood Services and Parks and Recreation. All Rental funds are used to maintain and restore this wonderful home and its grounds.
