Tonight I took pictures for my niece Tori and her family. Every session ends in us saying “well that was a sh*$ show, hopefully we got something” lol I had to show this video Chanin took on my phone. 🌸For the past several years, I have had the incredible privilege of watching sweet Josie grow through my camera lens. Every session brought her beautiful face, her sweet presence, and a light that was impossible to miss. I so looked forward to seeing her.

At the last session her family encouraged me to take a photo with her. I was so glad we did, because it is a photo I will forever treasure.

There are simply no words that can ease the heartbreak of losing a child. My heart aches for Josie's family as they face an unimaginable loss. I hope that the photographs we've created together over the years will serve as cherished reminders of the beautiful little girl who brought so much love and joy to everyone who knew her.

Sweet Josie, thank you for letting me be a small part of your story. You will always be remembered, and you will never be forgotten.
