2017 became my unofficial/official first year of coordinating and when I had begun putting myself out there on socials, F reached out to just over a week out of their big day! F + J needed someone to run the day, and with how well-planned out everything was already, I smoothly jumped right in only to add the sprinkles and a cherry on top. Just look through these photos: #12 was just the grand entrance. What. A. Vibe.

C + A know how to throw a PARTY! We were a little worried about space and capacity, but it all worked out in the end maximizing the reception space to its potential and strategically breaking down some tables for the dance floor. It. Was. Necessary.

I loved the pop of the golden yellow and WEDDING FLORIST AND PLANNER hit it out of the ballpark with stunning arrangements. C + A were so excited to cut the cake to open dessert that A actually broke the knife! Cheers to the best dog and cheers to many many more years to come!

Z + O’s fun and zesty theme with pops of happy spring colors + mariachi band + LOTS and LOTS of delicious food and dessert…oh my the dessert 😋 outshone the less-than-favorable weather. We transitioned to plan (B for Beautiful) and no one would have noticed the change of plans nonetheless.

We celebrated, ate, took many 360 vids, and danced the night away!

A + E | August 21 and 22, 2021

In the midst of covid, A + E came up with an idea that would satisfy the fluctuating restrictions for group events at the time. They proposed having 3 consecutive gatherings: Saturday dinner with immediate family, Sunday brunch with extended family, and a Sunday dinner celebration with friends, max 30 each gathering. We located at the backyard of a friend’s house, looked internally for local talents to help contribute to the celebration, and DIY’d decor.

It. Was. So. Fun. Like why not have 3 cake cuttings, 3 first dances, and 3 grand entrances? Sunday night’s celebration was my fave because A + E wanted to have a talent show; so it was incredible seeing all the singing, spoken word, and musicians there. Bubble man Chad also was the DJ for the night, and boy did he have fun with that! & as a Filipina, using bay leaves as table centerpiece decor is 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

L + C officially tied the knot in the midst of the first year of COVID, so when the restrictions were lifted, they planned a celebration with all of their loved ones. They threw the best party with so much love, laugh, and smiles you’re cheeks likely hurt at the end of the night. I’m so glad we were able to have the fun celebration yall deserved, round 2 soon?

It was hard to choose just 20 photos bcuz EVERY single corner of this venue looked SO cute because H + A thought that detail through down to the cocktail flavor and sign design inspired by their 2 catties! This was such a fairytale evening with a stringed quartet a surprise speech by the groom’s brother, and even a ightning show at the end of the night.

A + N | August 17, 2018

A + N’s wedding day was SO. FUN. This was my first full year of coordinating, back when I was young, spry, and could do everything from setup to tear down all by myself (what a time). I looked forward to our planning meetings and I’ll never forget our process; on our timeline-turned-To-Do list, we highlighted green for done, yellow for pending, and purple for Athena to do. We were so excited every time we highlighted something green!

After the brother in law ran to go buy some cake forks nearby, and someone had to go back to get the marriage certificate, everything went well! It was a gorgeous not-too-hot Summer day, the bride was STUNNING (you were too, N), the florals made by N’s mom were beautiful, and they had cake AND donuts! It was the perfect day for the perfect couple 🥹

K + J | August 14, 2021

Now when K + J told me they wanted a backyard wedding, they brought it to a whole other level. Out in Bainbridge Island, we were talking cocktail hour on the huge driveway, the ceremony on the side lawn overlooking the water, the reception tent in the back lawn and dancing on the patio, and a stage built on top of the hot tub for the band. Two of my fave special touches about K + J’s best day ever was that the ladies went to go to the floral farm the day before to pick the florals for the decor centerpieces and bouquets, AND that they bypassed the traditional cake and had local pie and icecream for dessert! Oh & can’t forget that their grand exit was a boat getaway! There were so many special parts to this night that made the celebration incredible. Thanks again for letting me be a part of that K + J!

Take a foundation of love, an ode to tradition/culture, a chunk of whimsy & a pop of happy yellow, and we have J + A over and over again. Shoutout to these two for staying grounded and true to themselves and eachother through the planning journey. I loved how they implemented a lot of their likes and interests throughout the day, like his and hers boba, their respect for the Filipino culture, and a little touch of smiski in each of the bridesmaids floral baskets! (It is J who introduced me to the world Smiskis and I am forever grateful). They danced the night away & continued at the after party.
