Hey guys…I found it… Happiness…
Turns out, it’s just a random sign zip tied to an iconic palm on 11th Avenue.
But maybe that’s the point. Maybe happiness was never hiding in some grand moment or giant achievement. Maybe it’s been sitting quietly in front of us the whole time waiting for us to slow down enough to notice it.
The truth is, the first place you have to look is within yourself. Check your habits. Check your surroundings. Check the people you keep close. Check yourself.
I did. And when I finally held myself accountable for the chaos I was allowing into my life, everything shifted.
Happiness isn’t a person. It isn’t validation. It isn’t money, appearance, success or applause.
It’s peace. It’s self awareness. It’s boundaries. It’s waking up and liking the life you’re building instead of constantly trying to escape it.
Self care. Self respect. Self love. That’s the real work.
And happiness? That’s just the byproduct of finally choosing yourself and protecting your peace.
