Oso Rouge is a blend of 65% Mourvèdre and 35% Grenache
whole cluster fermentation, aged in neutral oak
juicy, black fruits with layers of purple flowers & spices.

Grenache Rose is 100% Grenache
direct pressed with light skin contact, fermented in foudre
luscious berries, stone fruit, and beautiful minerality.

On March 26, we celebrate winemaker Silvio Messana of Montesecondo

Originally a New Yorker, Silvio would visit his parents at the farm in Tuscany they lived on. his father planted grapes there in the 70's and would sell them to local negociants. after he passed, his mother took over until she couldn't anymore and the Messana family decided to live there and help with the farm

His wife Catalina was against using any chemicals on the farm, and after being introduced to biodynamic producers, Silvio believed it was possible to make their own wine and slowly built his winemaking facility with his own hands. almost 25 years, the results speak for themselves as the estate has grown and they now make numerous cuvees
