A little fairytale magic, right here in Bucks County.🏰 The kind filled with imagination, wonder, and, in Fonthill’s case, the curious mind of Henry Chapman Mercer.
 
Mercer was an archaeologist, ceramicist, scholar, and collector with a fascination for art, history, and the world around him. He poured those interests into the home he created, filling Fonthill with objects from his travels and his own Moravian tiles across walls, ceilings, and archways. Everywhere you look, there’s another piece of the world as Mercer imagined it.
 
More than a century later, love stories are finding their way into the world he created, with celebrations unfolding across the grounds of his former home. Through our partnership with Bucks County Historical Society, those stories become part of Fonthill’s too, helping keep its imagination, wonder, and wonderfully original spirit alive for generations to come.

BIG NEWS! There’s a new place to celebrate in Delaware ✨🌿🦋
 
Hidden among the trees and open parkland of White Clay Creek State Park sits Judge Morris Estate. Soon its expansive lawns, gardens, and historic estate house will have a whole lot more celebrating to do.
 
One of the most exciting additions? A glass Solarium set within the original ruins of the estate’s former barn. The historic stone walls will frame dinner and dancing, with views out to the surrounding parkland and the night sky overhead.
 
Judge Morris Estate joins Bellevue Hall and The Barn at Cauffiel Estate as our third venue in partnership with Delaware State Parks. It’s a relationship that means so much to us, giving us the opportunity to share these incredible places while helping support the continued care of Delaware’s parks, historic properties, and natural resources. And in a year when Delaware State Parks marks its 75th anniversary, we couldn’t think of a better time to continue growing together.

Would you be up for the challenge? 🌱

Once a year, our culinary team builds an entire dinner around one rule: everything on the menu is grown, raised or made within 100 miles of Rancocas Creek Farm.

The result is Garden State Plate, our annual farm-to-table dinner with the Pinelands Alliance at Bishop Farmstead. Just beyond the barn, Rancocas Creek Farm grows much of the produce that makes its way onto the menu, alongside ingredients sourced from farmers, growers and local producers throughout the region.

The evening raises funds for the Pinelands Alliance and the work they’re doing at Rancocas Creek Farm, while celebrating the people behind the ingredients that make the night possible.

We’re lucky to work with some pretty wonderful people in our local food community, and even luckier to have a night dedicated to celebrating what they do.

Celebrating 100 years of history, heritage, and community at the American Swedish Historical Museum!✨ Located in South Philadelphia, this museum is the oldest Swedish museum in the United States.

During celebrations, the guests are invited inside to wander through the museum to explore the exhibits and learn about the Swedish and Nordic heritage.

As the museum marks its centennial year, we’re celebrating a century of preserving and sharing the rich traditions and stories of Swedes and all Scandinavians. Here’s to honoring the past and the next years to come!
